I already own the NX11 and NX200 and just ordered this one - Samsung makes great cameras, I'm really looking forward to the NX20! The street price is quite acceptable now.

can you manual focus while recording, or are you stuck with autofocus

With the right lenses it's quite on par, maybe even better. It really gives the cameras mentioned a good fight. :-) I own both the NX10 and NX20 and they are among the best and most fun cameras I've ever owned.

got mine for 300! love it. only one complain is the transition when switching shooting settings. the images lag sometimes. if there was a way to update this ir remove it it'd be perfect!

I have the nx11 and while it is a great camera apart from the fact that it refuses to take pictures a lot of the time.

You have such a great eye and intuition for composition and direction...I always enjoy the visuals of your reviews, and of course, the commentary as well. I don't know if one of your goals is filmmaking, but you've got the whole package of sensibilities, all evident in every one of your reviews that I've seen. KUDOS!

Wow in a local e-shop they sell this thing for 1099$ as well but give a 500$ Samsung Tablet to it. That's a great deal!

I'm interested in either purchasing this or the Panasonic GH3 for videography of sports events. Budget tells me the Samsung. Heart tells me the Panasonic. Which would would you recommend?

+Bread If you can get your hands on one for a cheap price. As they dropped in price 300-550 is good. Its amazing. I have owned one for 3 years and Im not complaining. However, i want to go full frame anytime soon.

ohohoh not even close. This is a camera is a niche though, it's definitely not as good as the 650D or nikon, but it is also smaller and runs about 600$ as of now.

They did, the Galaxy NX. Even the Samsung Galaxy Camera are good enough to serve well as a secondary or 'pocket' camera. An actual Android system on a camera with a real functional optical zoom is really nice to have! Convenient for vacations and a quick 'share' at an event.
