Defrost heater is available for sale?

Every 5 years like clockwork our heating element becomes an open circuit, I would love to cut this thing apart and figure out the point of failure. By the way you did not need to take off the top part to pull the fan housing compartment. The other part where you made it more complicated is when you tried to pry off the drain. It is a hell of a lot easier just to cut where it is attached on the right side and keep the drain connected to the heating element. I am getting too tired to keep doing this repair, LoL!. I would say class action lawsuit if enough people had this problem and I imagine they do. We also have the RS refrigerator. at 684 Now I know why it is a comedy... All you had to do was bend the cooling coils and the drain out toward you, NO WIRE CUTTING NEEDED! :)

i have the exact defrost element and have had a hard time with it. where did you get the part from and how much do they run? thanks
