Salamat Chris. I got my S90c at Christmas and have been enjoying it so far. Good to know it's holding up after 6 months.

"6months already" Wow, what an achievment. TVs should last for years...

Right? I always chuckle at these videos, they simply tell us nothing, no Oled will get burn-in after 6 months even if you use it every day for hours. Show me the TV after 5 years lol.

@floz9718: There are many reports of burn-in after 2-3 months of use, and many others after about 6 months. The risk of burn-in in the short term is real.

Hello my friend I hope you have well, I have the C3 65 LG and not happy with the colour and brightness, how dose the Samsung stand up when it comes to the auto dimming?? As I know LG has fixed this issue, have you seen this happen to you? Please let me know as I’ve only 6 days to decide on swapping it over, as long as it doesn’t kick in when watching films and games then I’d be happy but I’ve seen videos saying it dims after 10 mins then have to access menu to brighten the image up again?
@chrisb4743 ай бұрын
Hello, I did not encounter auto dimming issues as I have turned off settings that could alter my brightness settings.

@@chrisb474 which settings?
@chrisb4743 ай бұрын
As for the dimming and thrn going back to the settings, it dies. It happen to me. It dims after a few minutes to avoid burn but goes back to normal after you resume your game. For netflix or youtube, it is the screensaver that kicks in.

A TV is made to be enjoyed for many years without having to worry about what I'm doing with it. Maybe one day they'll solve the burn in problem with oled TV's.

At what level of brightness do you use your s90c? I bought it like 3 weeks ago and i'm impressed that an oled can get this bright, however it worries me that i might be pushing the pixels a little bit to hard and i wanna know your opinion
@fvalloАй бұрын
Lower the lights in room and keep it at 30 or 35 max
@Adrian-yc9bjАй бұрын
@@fvallo dp you recommend peak brightness off or at medium?
@fvalloАй бұрын
@@Adrian-yc9bj peak brightness is a screen killer, never use it, it clips highlight detail, put contarst at 45,anything above also clips highlights details !also use all burn in features on max, pixel shift etc... I wached mad max hdr on s90c, no peak brightness, at 35 brightness and the movie was so bright it made me squint, i had to turn on ambient light.. I just don't understand how qd's are not bright enough for people....

Oled technology has come a long way in terms of preventing burn-in. That being said, I would still advise someone who wants theri TV to last 10+ years (unless you only use your TV very infrequently), not to get an Oled. Oled's are for enthusiasts who repleace their TV every few years anyways.
@robl35712 ай бұрын
The average person replaces there tv every 6.6 years… very few people keep a tv 10 plus years… and still use it daily..

@@chrisb474 Damn, i use 20 as a max for gaming with warm 2. And 1-10 at night for most movies, everything beyond hurts my eyes (and my tv :D) I think you should expect burn in around one or maybe one and half year of use with 50 brigthness. (from what i've read from others) Anyway thank you for your answer, now i am more calm.
