Unfortunately, when Disney pulls something from Legends and makes it canon, it is only the exact thing they pull that becomes canon. So in this case, only the character himself is canon. All we know is that there was once a sith lord named Revan. But his story, his arc, the characters he all knew, etc. are not canon

The Old Republic is so deep and philosophical, one of the best quotes. Revan is the best character in the Star Wars Universe, the online mmo ruined it but with only 2 games, one he's not even in, he's still my all time fav.

The quote is so critical that if he ever hits the big screen it needs to be the basis of how the films are written. I hope to god that Revan is handled properly.

The newer movies could have easily done something inspired by Revan. TFA: Rey discovers her powers and begins her training, and Luke recognizes her as a new Chosen One. TLJ: 5 years pass and Rey abandons the Jedi teachings to go to war with the First Order, and as a consequence she aligns herself with the Dark Side taking the Darth title that Kylo Ren refused, as a consequence Finn awakens and his training begins. TRoS: Another 5 years pass, Kylo Ren was injured, classic lost limbs because every Skywalker needs to lose a limb, and Rey is nowhere to be found. Finn does what Finn does and looks for Rey with Poe, they find her in a hermit-like state as she deals with what she did as a figurehead of war. Eventually Rey convinces Finn to abandon the Jedi way and to follow the ancient teachings of Revan. Finn and Rey then finish off Kylo Ren by redeeming him and letting him become Ben Solo again. Like bitch its not that hard to plan this shit out

This did almost happen when Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka went to Mortis and there was deleted footage of the Son talking to two Sith Lords, one of them being Revan's Dark Side.

I haven't played the latest swtor stuff with vitiate yet so I can't say for certain but revan as far as I know so far didn't end up being the one to destroy vitiate.

While I do agree with this, at the same time - Thrawn. Written by Timothy Zahn. The man is a master - as Revan balances both the Dark and the Light, Zahn balances both the Disney and the Legend canon. "Thrawn" as a novel is a masterpiece, working in both canons. and to be fair - they made a decent job of Thrawn as a character (if making him a bit more villainous in Rebels because they needed an obvious villain for kids than he ever has been in any novel).

Legends has very high highs but very low lows. It's shit at worst and a masterpiece at best. There's very little consistency which I hoped Disney would bring but they shattered the universe even further...

Canon does have good stories and characters: Mando, Ahsoka, Rex, Clone wars, rebels, But I still agree

Second Kreia who is by far the most wise and deep thinking person in Star Wars she makes yoda look like a joke, she says that Revan is the heart of the force which means his status is directly rivaling that of the chosen one and by the way Luke and Sidious are both inferior in terms of potential. Revan also has more feats to trump both of them and for future reference Lord Vitiate is impossibly more powerful than sidious and luke but together. Feat 1:Revan resisted vitiate's force powers because you apparently don't know much about star wars I will break it to you...Vitiate is the most powerful force user ever of course his potential is not as high as someone like the chosen one or revan but he is still by his knowledge, longevity and immortality the single most powerful force user btw I am counting from a non will of the force and abeloth perspective. So back to revan, he resisted the true sith emperor's torture for 300 YEARS!! To put that even further Vitiate once drained the life out of a planet in 0.20 seconds which means that Palpatine took 30 years to drain a planet so doing the math i achieved a mind-blowing result that Vitiate is 2.5 million times more powerful than palpatine in his prime and obviously more powerful than luke. Feat 2: He beat Mandalore the ultimate as a Jedi Knight. And that is a big deal cuz by the time luke became a knight he could not beat palps when he wasn't at the peak of his power so yeah revan did not even use the force he beat him in a duel without the force. Feat 3:Revan learn't everything the Jedi had to teach him in a matter of years which is incredible because it took both luke and palps decades to do that also. You may argue they had more to learn but even by that standard revan outclasses them in adaptive learning which means if Palps and luke were so gifted they should have taken as much time s revan right? Well wrong that is because at the end of the day revan is simply more powerful. I put a lot of effort writing this I would appreciate if you learn't something.
