Agree, it's kinda sad he ended up like that. He looked really interested in becoming a real warrior in the end of his episode...

Did you guys play the game? He's the store owner selling upgrades and in theory helps more during the final fight (not on screen but it's implied).

I thought that was the ghost girl and that 1 episode of Jack in The Haunted house or was it called Jack versus The Haunted house I cannot recall but the shadow figure is almost a spitting image of that ghost girl that led them to The Haunted house

1. The Batman comparisons are a bit of a stretch. They sound close to the same but that doesn't mean they're a direct reference. 2. Wearing leaf-cloths doesn't mean it's a reference to Tinkerbell. 3. You're just grasping with Brak.

Also, I don't think the ghost samurai was supposed to be a reference to one particular samurai from history. The character designers probably searched up samurai armor and went with the most striking helmet they could find.

slightly salty that Jack never taught the Sa-moo-rai real Samuri teachings. i mean he probably didn't have time for that, but pointing him in the right direction or giving the basics could have been a big step.

Knowing Jack, he most likely did tell him. But since it's hard and deadly journey to go through, he refused and chose peaceful life.

@@ahmedaliyu1495 Ashi was hidden behind everyone else, she was right up next to the bar and is much smaller than everyone else. If Demongo had actually seen her, I have no doubt there would have been a fight.

Yes, and when Ashi jumps on the rocks to cross the river @4:39, it is an homage to Tropic Thunder, particularly, the scene where they hold a comical argument in the river.

Forgot which episode, but the guardian's glasses made a cameo shortly after jack regained his balance. This hints that he got clapped. My theory is that he was put into an ultimatum: either flee and let aku's minions destroy the time portal that was sooo hidden for over 50 years, join aku himself in pursuit of jack, or fight to the death against an infinite wave of aku's best. Guardian is strong, but even the strongest men tire. Eventually he bit the dust choosing to die with honor.

I really loved this episode. Compared to all the grimness of the first 3 episodes, this really showcased how much good he did in the world that even if he hadn't defeated Aku yet, he had done tremendous deeds.

One of the things that really brought down S5 was the empty cameos. Never really served much of a purpose beyond cheap nostalgia manipulation. Thought Genndy was better than that.
