For years I have been wanting to build a tool wall that will not only help me keep my tools organized, but also to get me pumped to walk into the shop, simply by looking at it. With my workshop tool wall now completely remodelled, I can honestly say that I am more than happy with the results. For this tool wall remodel, I used Meranti plywood and the trim details are mostly Fir (with a splash of some Western Maple, Cherry, Cedar, Purple Heart and Walnut thrown in there for woodworking highlights). As you watch this complete tool wall remodel from start to finish, I hope that this workshop project gets you excited to organize your own tool wall - Enjoy!

But you know, it's, in fact, functional. What you see is what you tend to do. It's no hard rule, but an apprentice learning the trade in a scrappy looking shop will likely never have the same attention for detail and craft as one where even the shop furniture is nicely built. So having nicely finished shop furniture is in fact part of teaching your apprentices.

Have a fast recovery. Slavik.

I have to be honest, I'm one of the ones who thought Samurai has lost it a bit, his videos were better before and yada yada yada, and I'm very happy to been proven wrong, this is amazing, this is what every woodworker's shop wishes it looks like. Now I'm curious as to what it actually looks like during a project, cause mine (though modest as it is) is cluttery as hell midway through a project, nothing is where it's supposed to and I have a hard time finding the tool I JUST had on my hands. Kudos man! amazing work.

Had a shoulder reconstruction myself about three years ago - after working on through it for seventeen years it was a total mess in there... Taken a long time, but the lack of pain was by far the best improvement. That and regaining 100% movement... Good luck with yours, hope its a full recovery and a fast one.
