Not the only donor though. Adam/Raven Beak said that she had both Thoha AND Mawkin genes- she can slow the transformation with Thoha genes and she has the physical abilities with her Mawkin genes. @@flerken4233 This is true, and I lapsed on that. The main point is, however, that no, Samus isn't an alien, and her having Chozo DNA has been known for as long as some of these people have been alive. Probably _longer_ than that for some.

You know, I've known the Metroid for a while now, and at first I was kinda confused how this scene fit into the canon. But the more I think about it, the more I like it. Like, of course the DNA of a pacifist scientist didnt turn her into a fighter, and I think its actually really interesting to know where the specs for her beam came from.

@@alex-sh5ed Well, Snake is an out and out clone of Big Boss whereas Samus was born to human parents and then given Raven's DNA, but if you're just talking how their relationship ultimately played out -- yeah, no, that's a fair allegory. Only Samus torched him with the Hyper Beam as opposed to torching with a homemade flamethrower.

No she is super human because of her Chozo DNA. She ended up getting metroid DNA in her during Metroid fusion. She ended up getting metroid DNA in her because of the X-parasite she got infected with at the beginning of fusion. In order to save her the hospital/lab injected Metroid DNA in her because Metroid is the only counter to X. But it turns out her Chozo DNA counters the Metroid DNA slightly, she went all crazy because her DNA could no longer keep the metroid DNA in control. At the end she gets the other Birds DNA, that Chozo DNA can control the metroid DNA.

What makes that better is that she’s had plenty of time to mature as a person and a warrior. Around Other M, She was only 17. Now though, she’s 34. So she’s far beyond that phase.

@@AfroXaolin2023 She isn’t even 30 in Dread. And other M happens like 2 years before dread at most. The only concrete knowledge we have is the she started in Zero Mission in her late 20s. The Prime games happen in a year (Fedforce confirmed it). And Fusion plays a couple years after Samus Returns.

So there's that and be it by his own hand or his actions, he's literally responsible for every bad thing that's ever happened to Samus in Metroid including but not limited to the death of her baby whether he was directly responsible or not.

@@Shanethefilmmaker I don't see there any connection. The reason why she's so angry at him it's because he wanted use her as bioweapon to achieve Galactic Peace. That’s was her purpose as Chozo successor and she feels like she was raised by them for terrible reasons. That’s was her fear in Metroid manga when Mother Brain told her that she was Chozo bioweapon and nothing more. That’s pissed her off. Same pretty much here, but there her fears are actually true and it's terrible for her. Raven Beak was real dread of Metroid Dread after all.

@@clintonbailey4895 Well, to help clear some issues here uh, Yes you are correct, but the CHOZO DNA samus was given was Raven Beak's, So yes her human parents did get fried by Ridley.

Uggh this story has screwed this up, because technically Adam is supposed to be an AI that samus named after the dead general Adam Malcovich, but because the stroy is 30 years old so let me break this down. Samus was born by 2 human parents on space Col K2-L. Chozo went to that Col, and the space prirates follwed them. Space Pirates showed up with Ridley and murdered everyone on the colony including Samus parents, the Chozo took samus and raised her on planet zebez. Samus got trained by the Chozo and they injected Chozo DNA in her so that she could have the power suite, Metroid Dread revels that the DNA doner was this Raven. Metroid 1 begins with the Space Pirates stealing metroids from the Chozo basically and started replicating them for use as a BIO Weapon. Samus goes there can cleans them up and kills the space priates on Zebezs to stop them. Metroid 2 Smaus gets sent to planet SR388 to kill all the metroids. She goes in and kills them all except for 1 Metroid, a baby metroid hatches right as she is about to destroy the last egg and the metroid thinks that Samus is her mother. Samus spares the life of the Metroid and returns it to the lab. Metroid 3 or Super Metroid, Ridley steals the baby metroid the Samus saves and brings it to planet Zabez, Samus follows them to prevent the Space Pirates from cloning the baby metroid, She finds the baby metroid and just as Samus is about to die from mother brain, the baby metroid saves her life and dies in the process. So that is the end of all the metroid. Metroid 4, METROID fusion, there is a new threat on planet SR388 called the x parasite, turns out Chozo created the Metroids to contain the X parasite. Samus gets sent there almost does, docters and scientests inject her with METROID DNA that they got from the babay metroid Samus saved to fight the x parasite, when Samus almost died an X parasite basically cloned into her along with her power suite at Max strength, Samus returns to SR388 fused with the Metroid DNA and her fusion suite. Most of the parts of her old suite where considered organic material which allowed the x to replicate the suite at full power. Samus is not bound to the suite tho she can take her suite off at will while she is concious. While killing off the X parasites on SR388 she enounters an AI that treats her like the dead General Adam Malcovich and this is where the story conflicts with Dread. She calls that AI Adam. But the AI should have been destroyed at the end of Fusion, at least as far as we know that AI was not portable so why the AI is still with her at the beginning of Dread is a mystery. And how Raven knew Adam's way of talking to samus and calling her LADY is also a Mystery. Raven is not Adam we saw Adam die in other m. Also how did the AI travel with samus of SR388 i dont remember samus making a copy of the AI. Makes no sense.

@@josephcox3091 Couple of things: 1. In Fusion, Samus originally goes to SR388 and gets infected, but the actual game takes place in a space research station in orbit around SR388. 2. The AI was sent with Samus by the federation as part of a condition for her using her new ship (As she crashed her old one after losing consciousness due to the X). It is assumed to be tethered to the ship or is completely off site and therefore was never destroyed when the station and planet were destroyed.

Well, the suit is an extension of her being so naturally i'd change her suit over well, herself, but she'd still act like a metroid though. draining everything.

@@TheEel228 it was her personality. She was great when wearing power suit, but she still frail human inside. Razor beak proves he can beat samus without power suit. It was a hint for her next arc. Time to test her mawkin DNA.

@@RACH90810 No lol, she had Chozo DNA in her from when the Chozo adopted her after her parents died to space pirates , she got metroid DNA in her right before the beginning of Fusion. Her metroid DNA allowed her to wipe out the x by absorbing them. At the end of this one she gets Thoen DNA which will keep the metroid DNA in check.

@@josephcox3091 and the power suit if completed will stabilize her condition. In the next arc she might not rely on her power suit.

@@RACH90810 ? What the power suite is organic to her. That was established a while ago not sure if you played fusion but she takes the suite off and on at her will. Organic as in like a living thing like a plant.

Her family was human. But the colony got attacked by Ridley and his pirates. Two of the bird species took her in. But she needed the operation to adapt to there climate. So in order to adapt. She needed there dna injected into her this would be raven beak dna. Making him her donor father

The ship fortress of raven beak was massive and got overloaded with Samus Metroid energy and then crashed on the planet, a bit exaggerated but it's a game after all, no need to be realistic.
