I'm staying with the head and not moving far from the topics of the last couple of weeks. Would you like to know more about the temporomandibular joint of the jaw and the muscles that move it?

In all honesty, I'm falling short of words to describe the contentment I felt after watching these videos. You satiate a learner's curiosity or at least get close to doing so! :p

Isn't it crazy that we have a joint that hyperexstends and gets out of line and causing a bunch of discomfort. I started to get serious issues in my late 20's after never having issues before. I would have muscle weakness, my jaw popping out, then I had to go to therapy because I got OCD about it and tried to reset it myself and just aggravated it more by manual resetting my jaw. It was no good. But once I got diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia and ADHD it helped alot so now I am in control of the anxiety it used to give me. I feel bad for anyone dealing with TMD and TMJ disorders.

I am an Alexander Technique teacher and train and certify Alexander Teachers here in the United States. I found you this past year and am so grateful . I teach simple anatomy relevant to our needs as AT Teachers and try to keep things creative, clear and interesting as much as I can . And your teaching style is so fun, rich and illuminating that I have just been sharing them with my class and bouncing into hands on work from them. I truly love how you think and teach. So happy to have access to these lectures . Daria

worth to mention that the temporalis muscle also can cause protrusion with it's anterior fibres. and that the lateral pterygoid muscle is divided into a superior part and an inferior part. The superior part pulls on the articulate disc while only the lower part pulls on the madibular process
