Thanks for the video! I used this lens once and wasn’t happy with the color rendition. After watching your video, I think I judged too quickly and maybe I had a setting wrong on the camera or in post. I’ll give it another shot, having the dedicated manual focus is really convenient.

I've found that a lot of photographers become very reliant on autofocus and autoexposure, which can be great for safety but getting to really know how to do things manually by riding the ISO, iris and focal point let you really tune in different aesthetics of a photo or shot. Sometimes I like to do 3-4 good takes with different focal depths to give myself more edit choice for example - the emotive response in being able to isolate a subject or making a more/less extreme focus pull between 2 subjects is really interesting to play with.
