Historic Market Square in San Antonio Texas is a popular spot where tourists and locals can get a taste of old Mexico. The San Antonio culture is represented here through the items found through its various vendors as well as the food and shops. During normal operation Historic Market Square hosts a variety of different live events and entertainment. This is my 1st visit back since the pandemic hit and I could see it's life returning.

where did you end up going? I am from NY State myself (lower hudson valley) and I miss the pizza up there.. San Antonio is great by the way but you can't go wrong with Houtson

This is Historic Market Square it has various events that happen throughout the year but it's definitely most popular during FIESTA each year. The summer time has much larger crowds when people are traveling or on vacation

I visited Houston, San Antonio and Ft Worth a couple of years ago and if you want to see a lot of cowboy hats on a weekend the Stockyards at Ft. Worth is the place to go and also have fun listening to good music while you admire the hats.
