It's a cool trail, it's just so short. It would be awesome if the trail could start higher up, then drop down single track instead of the fire road. Or maybe add some features on the side of the fire road.

Currently shopping around for my first mountain bike. This trail and Mira mar lake are the ones closest to me. Will an xc or trail mountain bike be more suitable? I really don't know much about mountain bikes.

It really depends on how you want to ride. I would say a trail bike, but I'm more inclined to riding the more technical features and getting my bike in the air. If your goal is just to pedal, an xc bike males more sense.

And btw people if you do go to pq, make sure you travel in big groups and if you carry a concealed weapon, do carry it. For two reasons : 1. Big cats out there and they have attacked in broad day light 2. There have been about 3 cases of people stealing your bike at knife or gun point, one of those. Bikes are in hi demand thx to the virus and everyone wanting one of all the sudden. So just be safe and always be alert, be loud and if a cat comes along you better fight that fucker lol or the robber!

I think the part w/ the gaps starting from the wood drop should be pro not expert. People will see this part of the video and think it's like the rest of video because the gopro doesn't show how big those gaps really are. I'm not sure if showing this portion to the public is necessarily a good thing for various reasons that might be controversial. Just trying to be respectful here to those who are pros(not me). For most "advanced", I can see them ruining the smaller pump jumps and/or hurting themselves in a remote area when hospitals are stretched.
