The FINAL part to this day drive at Idyllwild. Leaving the south side of the mountain and taking a detour west going toward Temecula. Enjoy!

I got a mod suggestion... get yourself some strut towers, front and back. as well as other braces. each one adds to the handling! if your doing mountain passes on a regular, might as well stiffen her up. 😁

I can say with confidence that it doesn’t need it. The Sachs struts on this car is tuned so well. Feels like a proper set of coilovers that are oem.

@@shift__robinson Id agree, if they didn't make such a huge difference in my car... 👀

@@jesse584 Do you have a base or premium? I’ve never driven one but from what I’ve read, it’s a much more comfortable ride. I’m sure the bracing helps it quite a bit.

@@shift__robinson I have a custom ordered Hakone edition... I went for bracing first, as i may just supercharge it... either that or going for a high revver... 😋 every piece of bracing i have put in, has done more then i thought it would, as it is a pretty tough car to start.

@@jesse584 Many tend to underestimate the benefits of rigidity. The Hakone is a first gen right? Fun fact, the GR chassis is about 50% more rigid than the previous generation. That in itself is a substantial difference, similar to the mods you’ve done already.
