First unique SM design I like! Love the rounded flanks, colored GMT chapter ring and sloped bezel.

Famous watch brands charge a small fortune for a similar metal bracelet, not to mention here that the bracelet tappers have removable screw links, and that clasp is superb with quick adjustment. SM is definitely a serious brand ,offering outstanding value

Great looking watch but the logo on the dial is a dealbreaker for me. They need to come up with something better

They've gotten a lot of push back for years before settling on the Hex logo ... I know everyone's taste is different but It's not bad in my opinion. I think at this point they've settled on this for a while - however you could ask if they make them with a Sterile dial ... They used to - not sure if they do anymore.

Similar watch: Merkur Pilot/Diving GMT. (Definitely let down by acrylic crystal). Revelot Admiral GMT. Probably a better watch although the dial design is definitely a matter of taste, although the lume options are stunning. Momentum M20 GMT diver (Quartz). Slightly different, Gavox AviDiver GMT or AviDiver II GMT in a compressor format. Which is beautiful but reportedly let down by average lume at the price point.

In fairness there has been a recent (last 2-3 years) push for smaller watches 36-38mm ... Like you I prefer a dive watch bigger than that (ok for more formal pieces) ... However that said 39-42mm seems to be MOST people's sweet spot with 40mm with 20mm lugs being the standard.

Nothing like the Omega Tintin watch! Both the dial and the shape of the body are different! And the bracelet is heaven and earth! How you could see the similarity in the two completely different watches is beyond me.
