I am with you man. If we jumped back ... 13?! ... years we would be stepping off the plane to shoot in Puerto Rico right this instant. Good times with a great crew: never happens quite as frequently as any of us would hope. That January (2009) we had just had half of our shops cancel their holiday orders after everything crashed in fall 2008. The Puerto Rico trip (booked months before) represented basically all the cash we had in the bank at that point and I was not 100% sure we were going to pull it off until we actually stepped off the plane - at which point I was 100% sure it couldn't be anything other than the right place to be, with the right people at the perfect time. Bish is doing good, still skating better than I ever have, and passing on that stoke to the next generation. He and his wife Heather just celebrated their second son and I've already seen many gnarly videos of their first son already on a board. If we are lucky he might catch this one and give you a better update, I owe him a call for New Years myself!

We've both got wheels around 64mm, so they're bigger/softer than skateboard wheels but prolly a bit smaller than the average longboard wheel

Trucks with shit loads of stickers are highly encouraged! That video makes the board look so well loved its ridiculous. If the goal in life is to ride hard loving every minute until the wheels fall off (mine is), I would say that Drop Freeride 44 is well on its way. That classic graphic was one of my favorites of any of the art stuff I helped direct AND the Drop Freeride 41 was really the deck I started doing bigger mountain stuff on (Port Jervis shuttle runs w/ Jay Cagney). Top mounts for control but when you don't know how to START the slide, there is nothing like a double drop to force you to learn quick. Hope to get some improvements (not just new art) headed toward the Freerides and specifically the Drop Freerides in 2022 (which unlike last year seems like we just might pull those changes off). @@ScottImbrie I would 100% buy a new drop 44 again! I should upload a video showing the 3D grip job I did on mine, smashed the nose on a guardrail doin about 75 a few years back so I just chopped it down a smoothed it off to make myself the first directional W concaved chopdrop 44 lol give me a few I'll upload something
