I think I was around 13 years old when I saw this video for the first time. I am now 24 and still come back to it for hit of strong nostalgia every year

Revisiting since the original watch in 2009 . I’m now 28 , have a daughter , a good family and a great job. I can afford all the longboards in this video and to travel to all these places . Maybe it’s time ? Haven’t talked to my longboard friends in over 14 + years we use to spend everyday after school bombing down the hills of our neighborhood while wearing our homemade slide slices from cutting boards we stole from our kitchen. “I hope you’re well as I am fine” never knew I was talking to my past self until today. I’m going to buy a longboard and hit them up. Let’s see what happens next !

Damn I’m 37 now, long boarded a lot in my 20s, I just bought a fresh complete from Arbor I’ll be skating again after a long hiatus. I’ve been religiously snowboarding though and hiking so I still get after it 💪💪

This one single video has defined so many different aspects of my life. I was a freshman in highschool in 2012 when I first watched this video and man I was HOOKED. The music, the cinematography, the atmosphere, everything about this video was what I wanted out of my life which to me, was total and complete freedom. I took up long boarding soon after, fell off after a couple of years and never went back but this video has continuously drawn me back year after year after year for the sole purpose that its message is complete and utter freedom. I have lost my way several times in my adult life but this, this one single video has continued to remind me what life is all about, love, unity, beauty and freedom. From the bottom of my heart, as a 27 year old man continuing to live through life, thank you so much to the original skateboard crew for inspiring me each time I watch this video to keep moving forward and to strive towards what I want in life. P.S. I’ve been following bishop on Instagram for YEARS and seeing this man grow a family has been the most wholesome experience. I love this video so damn much.
