This is by far the best tutorial i have seen for golden book. I have been wanting to do a golden book, but am scared i will damage it or screw it up. Kept stopping your video to write down notes, then replaying to watch you again explain your process. Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. I feel confident now to go and make mine. Alice has been waiting a long time for me to repurpose her wonderland !!

Thank you! You would add more pages the same way I put in the ones in this video however you would need to widen the spine to allow more space for the added pages. 😊

I love this tutorial. Ty. I have not heard of any adhesive sheet. That looks like a good way to avoid glue bubbles and bumps. Can you tell me a little bit more about it

Thank you! Yes it’s call Scor-tape sheets and you can order it in 8.5 x11 sheets from countrycraftcreations.com you peel backing off and carefully attach to you paper then peel other backing off. I pretty much just use it on the covers of albums though.

Hi! Thank you so much for this tutorial! Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I like how you kept all of the story pages together . I had been thinking that I needed to add journal pages in between the story pages. I was hesitant, and seeing your technique of keeping them separate, I am glad I didn’t! Would you do something to more secure the pages into the journal, besides the elastic? (Gluing or pamphlet stitching the signatures) Is there a danger of the pages falling out? Absolutely love your work!

Thank you so much. I’m thrilled you love my arrangement of the pages. If you want more permanent pages I’d definitely hand stitch them in the traditional junk journal way especially if it will be handled a lot. ❤️

How wide does score sheets come in... I can only find it about 1 in wide? So do you have to put pieces side-by-side to get the width of the spine?

You can get it in an 8 1/2” x11” size. I order mine from countrycraftcreations.com but yes you can use the 1” butted up together for solid coverage.

It doesn’t have a brand name on it but I ordered it from Michael’s. I’ll find the link for you here in a bit. It’s the perfect size and works really well. I think it was around $60-$70.

It's a Nex. The name isn't on the machine and I didn't have the box but they still have it at Michael's you can only order it online. I see the pink one is available.
