I loved the eating the calendar at the vet. Brought such a smile to my face and Lester trying to fix things his naughty kid did.

Huck's vet visit was hysterical and he was a fortune teller when he ripped the months off of 2020. Carl is a great addition to the sanctuary and I think once the church people see him they'll understand the new signs.

Here in the Western Cape, South Africa at Yzerfontein ostrich go into the sea for a swim from time to time.

Ostriches have good hearing and sight, Carl is just ignoring you lol. My cat does the same thing when I call her. I know she's not an ostrich but she's still an animal lol.

Ever since Ringo lost his sweet Meg he has gotten bigger I think he’s going through depression too.... animals suffer feelings of loss too and I don’t think he has ever gotten over her passing and with his cough has he’s gonna need some extra attention along with his medication to boost his will to kick it!!🙏🏻❤️

Lester I’ve been trying to tell my horse peeps to rotate pastures sooner but they withhold grass until it’s knee high and super green. That brings on a whole nether set of problems. Good info!

Standing more than 2 metres tall and with their acute eyesight ostriches have an excellent view over the grassland and bush. With their long legs and light bone structure they can escape quickly from predators, running up to 80 km per hour. Interestingly enough ostriches can see colour.
