It’s because of YOU Lester is the REAL reason you new you could trust bringing that pig in there to be part of the others lives.You new by you tought them .The ones who didn’t gives these animals a chance because they shouldn’t be raised as pets . It truly shows the type of person you are & says so much about your character & because of YOU being the reason for these amazing animals being able to experience the best life. Because of YOU we are able to be blessed with getting to see these animals as close as we would get.

We took in 3 feral hogs who would of been put down, simply because we saw y'all take Trudy in and love her. For that we can't thank y'all enough. Our sanctuary has learned so much by watching and listing to y'all.

My brother has the rolls of hay for his farm. I asked him what he does and if it matters. He said really it's just "to each his own." Maybe finish the year out the way it is and see what happens. Then next year do it the other way and discover how you like to do it. Maybe you won't like it the other way, even if it does save on some space.

I have to admit Lester, even know after she’s passed, I thought the same thing, it would be humane to put her down, BUT, boy was I ever wrong…you made the absolute right call…she was a light that brought joy to my life and others lives…Thank You for making the RIGHT decision!!!

I learned something from Journey. She taught me to listen to my animals, cause they can tell you what there bark or meow is all about. I will miss her yells. I loved her to pieces.

Lester u were RIGHT....even with the recent loss of journey...you were right because she didn't suffer..she didn't want for anything.... including medical care....and she lived the best life she ever could have....and she changed or affected so so many people dealing with adversity.....never doubt yourself on that beautiful baby goat because she never doubted you......RIP journey...thank you for letting us be apart of your life journey and I hope wherever your at we can all make you proud!!!

As for me Lester: Even though both my parents grew up on farms as children and when they married. They owned a farm too... I have no clue on how to run a farm. So therefore, I believe you're doing everything correctly... Although: I do know a lot about animals, I don't like to intrude. You're raising them babies perfectly in my eyes.. AND i applaud you, for keeping sweet Trudy and Journey! You knew in your heart what you were doing. They are having AND had their best lives ever......Thank goodness, you didn't listen to those negative comments 🤗💕💕💕💕💕🤗 ALL them BABIES are living in a WONDERFUL & LOVING farm.......

Lester, you are a place that takes on animals that others may not want, disabilities, or for what ever reason. You are their safe place where the animals are allowed to live out their lives, even if their lives are short. You love the animals, which is something they truly need, and we need to witness. God, give you extra love and knowledge when it concerns your animals. Unless, and I mean unless, you have cared for all types of animals, let Lester andJamie do what is best for the animals. They are not only their caretakers, they are also “mom and dad to their babies, be they feathered, tinies, littles, or bigs. Thank you ISS for all you do out of a great deal of love. We love you for it. Just ignore the armchair farmers.

So taking in an orphan three to five days old piglet who is named Pig Trudy now that is-and was born a Wild hog and a little disabled goat born only a few days old Named Journey would’ve never Survived out in that world, U R giving them the most out of Life and they r Sooo Loved 🥰 so We All say THANK YOU FOR WHAT U HAVE AND R STILL DOING giving those babies a Good And Safe as possible LIFE AT IMA SURVIVOR SANCTUARY U AND JAMI HAVE PROVIDED AND PROVEN TO PEOPLE ITS POSSIBLE. The other pigs are pot belly or part pot belly. They are Asia breeds where the pork belly is the most prized part of a pig. People keep them as pets but they still are raised in Asia for food, especially where space is limited. A lot more of the part of the pig they want most, in a much smaller package than Western breeds of hog.

You would have to actually starve Petunia, Peggy and Tiny Tim to keep them thin now they've gotten so big. I'm hoping that Lola's being so much more active in following Lester and Jami around will help keep her thinner than the others though the oatmeal, animal crackers and sweet tea are not helping that cause. 😂 💖

Fabulous idea! I’ve seen rolls stacked the other way all over the northeast coast. I now realize that there is less surface area exposed, keeping the centers fresh. Then you could even place a tarp lightly over the top and backside to keep additional moisture off the side facing out from the barn. The down side is no play area for the babies, but they are ripping and loosening the hay allowing mildew and bugs in now, so I think it would be a win. (I am no expert, Lester, just an observation from someone who respects you immensely and will never leave your page. Your farm, your decision 💖.) 🌺🌸

Observe how TP is packaged for retail. I'm sure big companies have looked into it. I mentioned this stacking option to Lester when he initially stacked the hay more for safety reasons when the kids climb.

I have to admit. At first I thought you shouldn't have been putting Journey with the littles. I thought the risk of parasites was to high for her health issues. But you where right her quality of life was much better than isolation and sheltering. It was such a blessing to watch her develop and adapt. To run and play man could she run. Yup you absolutely did the right thing. I may ask you a question why but im one that firmly believes Jamie. LE, JACK, PAWPAW, AND YOU will always do what is the very best for the baby's, the farm, and the family. THANK YOU FOR LETTING US ALL BE A SMALL PART OF YOUR FAMILY.

It make all the difference in the world when babies are raised with the other animals - like Trudy, she came in as a baby. It would be totally different if it was a wild, grown, feral pig - those are dangerous and I know you would never put a grown feral pig in with your babies. As far as Journey goes - she wasn't suffering in any way so putting her down should not have been an option. She was happy and enjoyed a high quality life. You gave her the gift of enjoying her life and being loved. What more could a special little goat ask for?

Good morning! There is always going to be some people who think they know everything about everything but really don’t have a clue. You’re a great leader! Leadership requires using both the head and heart! It also means you are a servant. Dear Lester you have a sanctuary which a forever home. You give them love, feed them, and understand them and have compassion. I say follow your heart and, I know that you and your family are true believers in God. Y'all do what others could, wouldn't, or think of doing. People should ask themselves if Journey was a child would they kill that child because they don't have a perfect and fit child. God sent all these beautiful creatures to you because you see the possibilities of the love and healing they give to all of us. That is a divine gift that you have. It’s amazing how fast Trudy can run. You have saved her life. When other farmers talk about killing wild boars, I understand but knowing beautiful, intelligent, and loving Trudy, it leaves my mind sad. From the beginning I adored Journey.❤️ Lester, I will NEVER play the I’m right game with you. No matter what you’ve done so far, is a hell of a lot better than most of us can or could do. I wish you wouldn’t let what people say bother you so much. I think it’s the way they say it perhaps? Lester, just keep being you. Just always remember , you are human like the rest of us. When you brought Journey into the family, it never occurred to me that some would think she should be put down. It's usually pretty obvious when it's the "right" thing to do, and you can rely on most vet's to steer you in the right direction. Because she brought so much joy to myself and others while she was here. Listening to other people's opinions is all well and good but, in the end, we must each follow our own hearts. I watch all the Morrow videos to the end everyday. As much as I love, laugh, and cry with you all I do not think I have the right to tell you how to run your farm. I will tell you how much I appreciate and love you. You are apart of my FRAMILY!❤️🇨🇦❤️

I wouldn't trade the lessons and encouragement and amazement that Journey blessed everyone with. I could Not believe that she started running with Maggie and the other littles like she did! She was a happy little spoiled rotton Smart little bugger! And Trudy! Shes the first pig I've ever seen run like she does! I didn't know pigs could do that. And her attitudes are so aparant when she gets mad or jealous. Lol I love them too. I love everything a out ISS. Your family is picture perfectly lined up with my dream life! Jami even spells her name like mine. With no "e" at the end. Lol 😍 😊 🤠 💙💛💜💚❤

I wonder how many more rolls of hay will you be able to fit in your barn. If you get two more cuttings, you will have to do something different, don't you think? I'm so glad you don't listen to some of the advice given. I believe as long as you follow your heart, you are doing the right thing for you, Jami, LE, Lex, Xander, and those sweet babies. I hate Journey passed, but she was an inspiration to most of us. I know I so appreciate you and Jami for letting us be a part of her life. May she rest in peace. ✌🏼&❤️

Aghhhhh lol oh how I miss that little girl and all her screaming. Thanks for posting. Lester you followed your gut with Trudy and Journey and I personally want to say thank you for not listening. That was the best decision ever. Journey touched everyone heart and taught me so much. Just as my son with Autism has. There's so much to learn in this world and Journey was apart of those teachings. So thank you💓💓💓

I don’t think it’s necessary to point out when someone ended up being right or wrong. All I “want” is for those babies to live their best lives - no matter how long or short. And that is clearly happening there at Ima Survivor, and all of the Morrow pastures. Please keep up the amazingly HARDWORK that you are doing and take comfort in knowing so many do love and appreciate what you do for the babies. And when you don’t know something you ask, out in public, which I think takes great courage in these days of internet bullies. P.S…. I am shocked that folks would have told you to put Journey down. As long as the Vet said she wasn’t in pain and being harmed, and y’all knew you could provide her with what she needed, that’s all the matters.

Pigs are smart by nature. You have done great by Trudy and by Journey. Your best decisions have come from your heart and gut feeling. Just keep on doing your thing!!!❤️❤️❤️ Tex will be just fine.

As soon as I heard that "Scream" I knew it was Journey🎯❤. R.I.P. Journey. .... I literally love you.... I can't imagine what your Dad n Mom is feeling💔. I'm starting my OWN Journey...Because Jesus gave us YOU to look up to. Yewah is GRAND!!!!

Lester sometimes you just gotta consider the source from which the comment comes.....as far as animals go, there are a lot of people not willing to invest the time, energy, money and love into animals any way regardless... It really takes a loving heart to go that extra mile for an animal in need..... thank you for loving Journey and pig Trudy enough to go that extra mile..
