Sandhogs have long performed one of America's most dangerous jobs. They are the urban miners who, for 150 years, have dug every tunnel beneath New York. Without these tunnels, New York City simply could not exist. The fate of the city still depends on their success. This was the presentation piece, cut from footage for our 90 minute documentary special) which we used to pitch the series SANDHOGS to History Channel.
