To just put this all in perspective, During the horus heresy, Erebus hunts down and tries to convince a Perpetual to join chaos. This particular perpetual was one that directly worked on the Primach project. I believe she is the "mother" (might be getting stories crossed) of the primarchs. both she and the emperor not only worked directly on the project but contributed genetics to the template they all came from. During this encounter She rebuffs him and he summons 3 higher level demons to attack her. which she single handedly is capable of taking on. .... None of the perpetuals that ive seen are weak. They are all top tier power level characters. and all of them combined couldnt match the emperors power... BEFORE he went to molech and stole power to become obscenely more powerful then he was before.

In a simple one on one erebus would have been obliterated, no contest, erebus even admits as much. Point being, all the perpetual were super powered badasses and even all of them combined couldn't match the strength of the emperor... thats staggering. It makes sense how the chaos gods have to tip toe around him. He's literally described by malcador as being able to "make his own time" or something like that... 😜

I’ve spent some time looking at 40k and wanted to know more about it, I finally decided to try and understand it after fearing it would be to much to take in and I would get lost in it all and just become confused and overwhelmed by it all. I knew this is probably the hundredth time you're reading this but I just started getting into Warhammer and I cannot stress enough just how hard this series' lore goes. Like,you can tell this took decades to craft, but every second was worth it, and can I just point out how foreboding it would be to come under the attack of these superhuman monstrosities. honestly wtf are you gonna do against a primarch?

Awesome lore review!! Watching this is getting me hyped for Henry Cavill's 40k series!! I hope that Henry and his team start the series with The Unification Wars, through the Birth, Scattering and Rediscovery of the Primarchs, then ending with The Horus Heresy. My reasoning for starting at The Unification Wars would give context to the Emperor's motives, his relationships with the other Perpetuals (primarily Erda and Malcador), while also giving context for Horus and his fall to Chaos corruption. I think, if each season has 12 episodes (about an hour long, each), Henry would need at least 8 or 10 seasons to give the proper context needed for those two "sagas" ------------- My further thoughts are in this post's reply section

However, If Henry only has room for only one "saga"... then I would go directly to The Horus Heresy. Granted, Henry would have to do a **massive exposition dump** throughout the 1st season, explaining the events leading up to the Scattering of the Primarchs. If this is the case: unfortunately, I can only logically see the show emphasizing on Horus and Sanguinius (leaving the other Primarchs... even Magnus, Fulgrim, Vulkan and Guilliman - as minor side characters) ------------- I don't know how many seasons Henry and his team are willing (or allowed) to make. But, if he's able to successfully pull off an authentic "live action depiction" of **at least** The Horus Heresy. It would set up sequels (up to Guilliman's reign), spinoffs (e.g. the Grey Knights, Deathwatch, etc.), and maybe even some prequel seasons

This is a masterpiece of a story telling and lore i just heard WH40K from Henry Cavils Interview and got curious then start researching but to no avail until i found this Video now im proud to say the phrase "For The Emperor!"
