After getting tested at the hospital, Fred (Redd Foxx) is convinced that Lamont (Demond Wilson) is ill too and he starts wearing a face mask around him.
From Season 1, Episode 5 'A Matter of Life and Breath' - Concerned about his father's smoker's cough, Lamont brings Fred in for a free tuberculosis screening at the American Lung Association's Breathmobile. The test results take his breath away.

Wasn't it only several short years ago that stealing copper started becoming almost as big as a "pandemic" as COVID is today??
