I grew up in Acton. Did most of our shopping between Sanford and Rochester, NH.

I’ve been to every state in the union multiple times, and Maine is number 3 to me, as far as beauty. Following Alaska and Colorado.

First of all trying to get from Springfield to Sanford takes 20 minutes one way on a good day it's too far spread out. It's a drug den full of poverty, asylum seekers and homeless people. The taxes are ridiculous because we have no industry only fast food and retail. If you're thinking of living here I would recommend you run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Gone are the memes and Pepe's from when I was a kid they have been replaced by welfare cases and people from Massachusetts who came up looking for government assistance. There's no direct highway access, tons of crime and it's deplorable.

I lived in Sanford in 1955- 1958. Sanford airport had drag races on Sunday afternoons.

@@livinginsouthernmaine I moved many times in my life . Sanford brings back great memories in addition to Acushnet, Ma. MASSACHUSETTS REALLY SUCKS NOW. LIBERALS ARE OUT OF CONTROL.

Thank you for this video, I live in NC and we just bought a house in Sanford which we will be moving into later this month Oct. 2023! This was a video I was looking for and the info I was looking for was in your video!! We are going to love living in Sanford, Maine!!
