Testing a bit of new kit...
Setup:
Canon EOS 5D Mark III
Super Takumar MC 135mm f/3.5 taking lens (wide-open)
49mm to 52mm thread step-up ring
Sankor 16F 2x Anamorphic lens (clamped, clamp screwed into the step-up ring)
Luminous optical flare excitement device (MagLite Mini pointed at the camera) :)
Filmed at 1509x1290 resolution using Magic Lantern RAW, quickly edited in Lightroom, then exported via After Effects at 1920x822 (1:2.34 aspect).
Noise is crap due to ISO being something stupid like 1600 or 3200, but it should be clean when filming outside/with proper lighting.
I've seen a very similar flare in Video Copolot's Optical Flares plug-in for AE, I'll add the name of it here when I come across it.
