Axle to Axle 40", Brace Height 7.5", Mass Weight 4.5#, IBO 330fps. We compare the Sanlida Hero X10 to the Hoyt Invicta and the PSE Citation target bows. We shoot bows through a chronograph and compare draw cycles.
We shoot the Sanlida Hero X10 at 18meters to see how it shoots.

Being looked after by the manufacturer if you ever needs parts isnt really a big deal..... buy one X10 to shoot a second for spare parts if needed and you would still have an extra $400 in your pocket. US manufactures make you go through a dealer to get anything, you cant even order the parts for your dealer.... so that after sales service ends up only being as good as your dealer and why I started driving two hours each way to Lancaster vs the 3 other shops in this area. *if I lived in Australia would be willing to go an extra hour over that for Archery Supplies, so much great info in these videos!

Great review Steven as always. I really like the look of the Sanlida. It seems plenty fast for target shooting. The PSE CITATION is quite possibly the best looking target bow they have produced to date in my opinion. Do they offer this bow left handed? Thanks for the great reviews brother!!! 🏹🏹🏹

I have this bow and love it. The draw cycle is aggressive and you are mechanically disadvantaged at the start of the draw. I think the cams are designed to maintain the draw weight irrespective of your draw length. I also have a cheaper Kinetic bow where the draw weight reduces when you reduce the draw length. I guess you pays your money and takes your choice.

I’d think with a very small softer draw stop, being target bows, that would keep the front bar from bouncing around. Something anyway, idk

I uwd to work for a hoyt dealer and hoyt are very good bows but I think they are over priced for what they are and its as if hoyt don't want them in the hands of the avarage archer and they are more designed for the top performers the sanleader looks bang for the buck fair play but I reckon the supra focus is the bow to get on a budget its such a fantastic bow and more forgiving.

Hey buddy so im thinking about getting the topoint unison riser. My draw is about 25-26 and half and im looking to get a 66 inch bow how does that equate when it comes to poundage because im wanting a 40 pound. Ive nerver built a bow so what do i do. Is the poundage dictated by the stiffness of the limbs and what limbs would you suggest for under 200 dollars
@marylandflyer5670
@marylandflyer5670 3 жыл бұрын
I would start with lower than 40 pounds on recurve unless you are used to shooting them. The unison is a very a nice riser and quite capable. Remember that you will probably need to use and replace limbs as you go up in poundage, so don’t buy expensive limbs to start. A decent foam core limb is all you need to enjoy.

That Sanlida cam is obviously trying to imitate the Hoyt SVX Cam that Invicta has the DCX cam which is far softer and easier to draw but lacks speed as well as in some peoples opinion lacks an aggressive back wall which can force the archer to pull through their shots properly. The trade off is really about how seriously an archer wants to take their shot otherwise an SVX cam will just rip your shoulder out of the wall.

@roverjohn

Because it's a machined riser, comes with modules, and is overall just nicer. I wish sanlida would make a 40" version of the X8. At $300 it would be the world's cheapest 'target' bow.

IMO, speed is not necessarily an important issue. 270 or faster is really a good number unless you're in an event where 300 plus is legal. There are some events in America where 300 fps is legal. A smooth even easy draw to me is more important than 300 or faster. Dropping very smoothly and with an almost unperseptable drop into the valley makes for a forgiving bow. The idea of having to strain your guts and shoulders to shoot an arrow is ridiculous with all the fine bows made nowadays. The straining your doing on this San,ida bow just sucks big time.
