What's up guys, it's time to meet sans and papyrus in the Undertale bits and pieces mod.

Yes, that first Ice Cap you found is, indeed, a Shimmering Monster! Like Moldsmal, Ice Cap has a few different color variants, but you can tell the yellow one is a Shimmering Monster from the sparkling animation when the encounter begins as well as its purple name. Also yes, stealing the hat from Ice Cap does turn it into Ice in the normal game. And yes, in BnP you can encounter Glyde by activating the mushrooms! Unless it's geno. Then you need to do the waiting thing. I'm not sure why it doesn't work the second time though, or if it's intentional. I made Glyde's overworld sprite, too. :>

Man, it felt as if I was back to seeing Undertale for the first time again, I've seen all these scenes at least a hundred times by now and yet they still managed to make me smile and laugh, as if I was playing fully blind, with these new additional jokes and quirks the developers added. BNP really does an amazing job at enhancing the Undertale experience and making you relive the game again.

I wanted to watch this the second it dropped because of how much I've been enjoying the mod and I couldn't wait to see the skelebois, but I don't like to start a video unless I know I can finish it in one sitting, so I waited to sit and enjoy it. I'm glad I waited, since today is my birthday and this was such a happy thing to watch. The snow falling and the little detail of the snow around the edges of the paths just add such a level of charm without going overboard. And, of course, the skelebros' sprites and themes were amazing; Papyrus is my favorite character, and I cannot even begin to explain how happy all those little extra overworld sprites for him waving his arms and tapping his foot and stuff made me. And as always Merg is just the most wholesome cherry, Frisk dancing his way from one end of the earth to the other as he vibes to the music, accidentally finding shiny Pokemon in Undertale, and pranking Toriel with a conveniently-shaped lamp and a toy knife. Today is a good day

Still can't get enough of sans referencing stupendium. I wish they would use some lines from the fanmade musical since the writing in that sometimes fits the vanila style. Edit: Another thing, Merg when in hotland DON'T go through a big red door on one of the floors. It currently is supposed to be a fast travel back to the ruins but there is no way back unless you go through toriels house and exit the ruins gate, causing the normal events of the game to play out with sans and papyrus completely resetting your progress and breaking the game sequence. For me I was supposed to get Undyne's letter and instead I ended up dating Papyrus before fighting him and meeting Undyne. You can probably test it and reload but don't be like me and break your game after saving at the first save you see in the ruins

This mod is incredible, the amount of work put into is amazing, it still feels like Undertale but at the same time it feels like a whole other game with the new areas, music, sprites, animations, extra features and characters. Truly a top tier mod and I can't wait to see more of it.

what happened at 41:23 is a bug that you can REALLY rarely encounter in the game, it's mostly used as a speedrunning trick. basically what i think you did is you pressed the direction that is the opposite of the direction of the room transition trigger. that made you go into the room you were going to, but it didn't teleport you to the right spot, and just sent you to the origin position of the room. it also disabled your movement because... idk. it's just undertale bugs man. but the way speedrunners avoid softlocking like that is they use the punchcard(the item you get when you buy 3 or 2(i think) nice creams in waterfall), right before the room transition, which puts you into a cutscene state where you can't move, y'know, to show that funny texture. so after the punchcard item puts you into the cutscene state, and after you actually transition to the room, you can press any button to cancel the cutscene state the punchcard item makes you go into, and canceling the cutscene state makes you able to move. if someone stumbles upon this comment and actually knows more stuff about this please correct me if i am wrong because i don't think i said everything right. mostly because i don't actually run undertale and the stuff i read\watched about the ways ppl break the game i read\watched a long time ago when i was casually researching speedruns and attempting some skips.

I love seeing your reactions to this "refreshed" Undertale. I am also enjoying it very much. It's been a while since I've written a longer comments so here we go. I won't talk about things that I saw someone else have already mentioned in the comments. This blue bird that you met with the cool pose next to the station is actually from the other fangame Undertale Yellow. You won't remember it, because it'll be the future character in that fangame and was teased several times now I think. This mod is so cool, because it has these easter eggs to other fangames and stuff. The switch in the tree works this way that when you press it you need to press the button on the ground next and then the puzzle is solved. I also didn't know Papyrus comments when you facing the other way on the bridge and I'm not sure if it was in the original Undertale. I think it might be and if that's the case then that's amazing that after 8 years we still learn new things about this game. Beautiful. I don't know if that's what you meant, but people who made this mod are also making the mod to Deltarune in the same style. Yeah, that's crazy. Keep up the great work and as always stay determined!
