Written by a Hindu lady poet in 16th century, made popular again by the Sufi singing legend of Pakistan Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, covered by countless others and instrumental version by Pakistani Christian twin brothers Leo Twins. This devotional song has crossed all major religions and each has its immense beautiful rendition. Maybe God is sending us a message through the lifecycle of this song if we want to heed it. A moving song no matter what faith you follow as long as your heart has the softness to be touched by the words of a faithful writer who truly loved her lord.

I consider it as a Performance for us Audience... I think it's to please us, so I don't see this as a Devotional piece. But what I think about the version of Mirabai is that, she must've sung it pouring all her emotions of Devotion in it ...making it an Epic, Eternal Masterpiece! I haven't heard her sing in this Janma, obviously, but as I have the knowledge about her Devotion for her Lord, the dedication must've been on a Spellbounding level!

Here is some mistake.... First a fall it's not qawwli...... And also it's not a Muslim song...... If you want to see in the google, you can...... That the song (saanso ki mala pe) is a 16th century hindu poet.... It's written by sant meera bai...... Many hindus doesn't know it.... And also many pakistani thought that this is a pakistani song... But I feel really good that knowing or unknowing this two religious and also two country making qawwali and bhajan as same as like bhai bhai.....

It never was the same again in the QAWAL world after dear legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan left this world , he opened the doors for success for so many artists.🌹
