RECIPE INGREDIENTS:-
Tiyah Mogu Dalir Khar
(Cucumber & Lentil Khar)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of soaked Mung dal
- 1 cucumber, roughly chopped
- 2/3 cloves of crushed garlic
- 2 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon of methi (fenugreek)
- 2/3 tablespoons of Mustard oil
- 3 tablespoons of khar (alkaline water)
- Salt
Process:
1. Begin by soaking the Mung dal.
2. Next, chop the cucumber.
3. In a kadhai (pan), heat the oil. Add methi and green chilies, then add cucumber and mung dal. Include the crushed garlic and cook for a while.
4. Add salt and khar, then cook again. Finish by adding a few drops of raw mustard oil.
5. Serve with steamed rice.
