Come take a ride with me from Santa Monica Beach Pier to Redondo Beach Pier. This is a complete virtual bike tour passing through the communities of Santa Monica, Venice, Marina Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and Torrance. Most of the route is on a wide concrete walk that twists and turns in the sand at the back of the beaches. This ride will take place on the Marvin Braude Bike Trail and voted one of the best bike rides in the world. The Marvin Braude Bike Trail is a 22-mile paved bicycle path that runs along the Los Angeles County coastline, from the northern terminus at Will Rogers State Beach, in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, to the southern terminus at Torrance County Beach in Torrance, and is open year-round. This was filmed on 05-17-21 at 1030am. Come see the Unscripted Natural sites and sounds of some of the most beautiful and famous beaches in the world. There is always something happening from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach and everyone is invited so Let's Go. Time To Grind.

For a tour of Redondo, scroll this message. To the Grind: YOU ROCK! I just love you so much! I can't tell you how much this video means to me! Redondo Beach is where I lived! I have lots of notes for anyone who cares to know more about it, but it's mostly my experiences: 45:34 This is as far as the Strand would take us coming up from Redondo Beach, if my memory serves me correct. That wall on the left and the Strand is all new here (from 2000 up) 55:10 The 90210 House is the first house on the right. The Strand here is all new! It looks like they rerouted the Strand and put it behind the row of houses on the right instead of in front. I met the guy that bought the 90210 house somewhere around 2000. I believe he bought the house for $11M back then. He owned his own electronics store - really cool guy. He said a bunch of wild kids lived in there before him and tore the place apart. He had plans to update and make the house nice again. From the pics I’ve seen on the internet, looks like he did a great job of it! It looks like the 90210 house is now an AirBNB! 59:17 My hang out! I used to frequent all the bars in this area! 1:01:08 Nickey’s - this place had the best subs! 1:01:47 Welcome to King’s Harbor. The electric plant is behind this huge building on the left (the only eye sore in Redondo). 1:02:14 This part of the Strand wasn’t there back in 1998. We all wished it was though! So glad they added it! 1:03:17 This is where I lived! I lived up on Broadway 2 blocks to the left! 1:04:05 Captain Kidd’s fish market is still there! I would walk down and get the best seafood there! 1:04:16 The start of Redondo Beach Pier 1:07:30 This is where I would go early in the morning to write - on one of these benches. I would watch the fishing and shrimp boats leave for the day while listening to the dingy’s clanging. At night we would hear the seals barking. 1:09:40 Used to be a great beer bar in here. They even had my Canadian beer in there at the time! 1:14:10 Sadly, Chyna, former WWE wrestler died in one of those houses up the hill on the left. Redondo is still the same only with different restaurants and boutiques. Thank you, Grind, for this video! I will cherish it!

WOW, Tina you really know Redondo Beach I'm very impressed. I did not know Chyna died there. I thought she died in Hollywood. She was one of my favorites.(The ninth wonder of the world) LOL. Thanks for all the info.

I really liked Chyna too. Not that I'm into the WWE but I met friends of hers who were really cool and she was from my hometown in NY :) Really sad she passed away. She was too young. Sorry, I got a little carried away and anal retentive about responding about your video. I was just so excited to see all those places again. I loved living there, and think about it all the time. Thank you for doing that video and for doing that ride :) You really made my day!
