Superb. Santana plays with such emotion. Lovely! Funny story - my then best friend and I were exchanging gifts one Xmas. I gave him an 8 track tape; and he gave me an 8 track - of the same album, Santana "Moonflower". Totally random.

I date myself, but I heard this song in playing at Lafayette Electronics in Philadelphia as a teen. Watching the Columbia label spin on that turntable, I was hooked. Listening to Santana Abraxas through that amazing sound hooked me into the audiophile experience.

Another superb cartridge by Audio-Technica and an absolute steal at the price you could get it before becoming discontinued. I have sold mine to an Audiophile buddy a few years ago... The music is awesome too! 🙂

Nice wide sound stage, good instrument separation. I found it slightly thin tonally, this is often a trait of ML stylus profile though. Turntable upgrade might help, the cart is perhaps too good for this TT. Try a Nagaoka MP110, ugly, but sound great!
