His podcast with Brian last is hilarious on certain topics like the Young bucks and Tony Khan's dumb ass, but it's pretty obvious he's a heel through and through in real life as well. Cornette is all talk. In the 80s he has some crazy stories about getting into fights but he’s old now and still talks all this crap . He is delusional, he can’t separate real life from wrestling. I remember he got mad at Becky lynch for getting pregnant bc it “got in the way” of wwe stories or as he put it “it was preventable!”. Like dude, there’s real life, Becky isn’t married to her career. The guys insane
@nanofate8662
@nanofate8662 2 жыл бұрын
Not only did he get mad about the pregnancy, but also essentially jabbed at Seth Rollins(you know, one of the few modern talents he raised and liked) for being upset his mentor made those comments. Dude made Brian Last a babyface trying to cover up or deflect when Corny made it clear his apology wasn't genuine. It feels like Corny doesn't get why someone would give up that position for what he perceives as one of the worst things a person can pursue(cause Corny made it clear he hates children with a passion).

That's the problem with modern day wrestling. It's all joke. There's no kayfabe anymore. Wrestlers tell you it's all fake too, so there's no way in hell anyone can believe in it. Cornette is an old school guy. He expects wrestlers to behave like the wrestlers of the past. You keep kayfabe whenever you're out in the public before the fans. You don't make wrestling a comedic act. Professional wrestling is about simulating a fight. That's what Cornette thinks and you probably knew that already.

Ok he no sells goofy boogeyman this week What if next week he decides undertaker and kane are goofy aswell It is his job to pretend.everyone is such a big fan of this comedy rassler why couldn't he have been acted scared in a over the top manner like everyone else stood in their underpants had to. wonder who else was in the development class that day Cause around those years Guys like randy Orton brock Lesnar, Shelton Benjamin,John Cena, Batista and on and on I could go.all the various guys and girls who went down to Louisville and either got polished up ready for TV or had character work there that entertained you on TV years for years to come. And they did as they were asked and ran off scared of the boogeyman as it is a work . Where does it end then No sell this dumb boogeyman bullshit today No selling the stone cold stunner next week? Come on people let's not work ourselves here. Bob Holly shooting on poor ol' Rene when he was exposing himself vulnerably by trusting Bob is really bad but Santino no selling boogeyman is just a little bad so corny slapping him was just a lil bad. Two wrongs don't make a right but if had Vince been portraying boogeyman that day how far does Anthony carelli go in pro rasslin then Corny tried to slap some sense into Anthony instead he slapped him goofy and he went off and became santino Marcella lol

That is messed up he said that when Santino after neck surgery. Cornettes Dad died when he was 7. I think he never kind of got his ass kicked or disciplined like we all did I guess. I don't know what his problem is? Sad. I think his Dad missing when he was a kid and teenager plays a huge part in why cornette pansies out of situations when they get rough. It's sad because cornette truly is a legend and fountain of knowledge we all learn from, but that doesn't make who he is as a human better. No compassion or empathy for the human condition is not a good thing at all. I truly feel ge lacked that from his father who died at 7. No ass whoppings or some sort of discipline. Cornette is absolutely hilarious and pretty insightful on his podcast, but its only percieved that way because we habe the ability to turn it off. I cant imagine being around him for too long is much fun 😂

Jim Cornette has a real issue against Canadians. I don't know why? He hates Canadian Wendy's and has treated every Canadian wrestler like complete garbage. The dude still thinks it's 1812 apparently.

I'd stopped watching wwe a year or 2 before the Santino Marella character showed up so I know very little about him but I totally believe his version of events 100% I enjoy Jim's podcast purely as a source of entertainment but I know Corny's a total bullshitter! On a side note Rene Dupree still looks like he's in amazing shape, I'd like to see him pop up in Impact Wrestling. I could see him doing great things there

Funny how nobody brought up Santino's daughter during the Boogeyman incident in OVW. He wasn't laughing at the Boogeyman, he was laughing at his daughter who was scared by the Boogeyman. Hmmm...

Really? Santino expects people to believe that he was trying to put he and Jim’s differences behind them?!? He really thought that randomly confronting and trying to force Jim into a confrontation was the best way to solve their issues? Seriously???😆😂🤣 Santino ran into Corny by a “fluke”; even though he said that he went to the convention because he knew Corny was there, and because he “wanted to shake his hand”?!? He didn’t think that anyone was around at a convention in Detroit? He didn’t notice being filmed? I think Santino has trouble distinguishing real life from wrestling after hearing his account of the events.🤣 Getting slapped by Corny is the only memorable thing from his wrestling career that I can even recall! I do not condone violence. I have never met Santino. As much as Santino lied in this video, I have to assume that Cornette’s version of events is probably more accurate than Santino’s.

Boss, work, this that or the other, if you slap me I'm taking off on you. Sucks he had to "think" about it in regards to his career. F that, if anyone took issue with it you'd think it'd be simple, ya HE slapped ME so I took off on him.

Santino is a little worm. The only shooting he's capable of is into a sock at night. Jim might be a ranting old goober, but his insights into wrestling and his story telling are excellent. Santino, meanwhile, wants to act like he was being reasonable during this confrontation when in the actual recording he's also acting like a little idiot and shouting some insane crap back.
