Santino took it too lightly. Cornette took it too seriously. People calling Santino "a snitch"? No one should get away with assaulting employees. Staying silent will mean it would just keep happening and getting worse.

I mean, yes. In the modern corporate world, 100% true. However, in the "old school" wrestling world, a slap was... let's just say, nothing. It was common to literally beat the shit out of the talent before they even got a job, and things would "get taken care of" if someone stepped out of line, and it was *expected* and how people got taught how to do things. Problem for Cornette is he didn't realize times had changed.

His gimmicks were some of the worst for the reputation of Wrestling world wide . Cross dressing and making a fool out of the women’s division, making a mockery of Jake the snakes gimmick . He’s just not good and his gimmick is stereotypical especially since he’s French Canadian

CULTIST HERE: Yeah Jim was having a rough go at it...... This was the totally "wrong place, at the wrong time, in the wrong event, in the wrong company," etc... Cornette's passion is amazing, but you can tell it got him into trouble. He may have gotten off lightly, to be honest... He coulda faced charges, or gotten spanked lol. Look, It's kinda like "YES YOU ARE RIGHT, but at what cost?" Kinda like telling a young kid that Santa is fake before they're ready to hear it, you know? I'm not calling Santino a kid.... I'm just saying that sometimes being right ISN'T the right choice within context. Anyone coulda called on Jim over this. This is just one of those things where it coulda been worse or better than it turned out. But it is what it is, and its over. THE END?????

People keep pointing out Santino has a martial arts background. Cornette is a heel manager from the late 70. I PROMISE he's got a gun somewhere lol. He's threatened to shoot Brock Lesnar, threatened to beat Russo with a bat and tried to KILL Terry Landell by running him over Richie Aprile style lol

Ehhhhh...... I dont know what to say. I feel bad for him too. Slapping someone's too much, cornette couldve just lectured him or called him an idiot. On the other hand, laughing at the boogeyman when theres 100s of people puttint the effort to make him sell as a serious character was a shit thing to do. Dude you had ONE job... Quistion for those that defend the slap. If I. Was to work at youre company or lime or work ( being real ). And he slapped you or you slapped him would it be looked at as defending you’re work or preaching company moral standards. Reason iam asking is. Cause if this was anybody other than Jc. Hugh Morris. Comes to mind it be a diffrent story concedering the crap santino has put himself trough during wwe. Iam pretty sure he would have done the kayfabe stuff.
