This is "Exotic Ways" from their 1993 "Exotic Ways" promo tape. The song ended up as "Colours Around" on their 1994 debut album, "Exotic Ways".
I don't have anything else to say about this band, except that they're one of my all-time favorite progressive metal acts and that I consider Vagelis Maranis to be the best Greek metal singer ever, along with John K of Deceptor. His style is inimitable!
Sanvoisen's line-up on this tape was:
Vagelis Maranis - vocals
Angel Schönbrunn - guitars
Hendrik Böttcher - guitars
Horst-Christian Andree - bass
Ulf S. Gokeler - drums

Thanks for posting this....this Promotape is one of the best Tapes ever!!! Saw this Guys in 1993 as support for IVANHOE here in a small town called Hüffenhardt....great Show and after this I have done an Interview with Vangelis for Heavy or what magazine!!!!

These backings where recorded in Hamburg Wilster, whereas the album was recorded in Cologne later. I played drums on both and I personally like the sound of the demos, they sound better then of the album. God have mercy! ... time passes by ;-) Achim G

This is rare! I am from Brazil and i bought exotic ways back in 1996 or so in a store at downtown Recife. These 2 sanvoisen albums are part of my life story. Is there any other sanvoisen recording or live shows besides the 2 official released (question mark)

There must be some live stuff but I've never heard of it. As for recordings, there's this demo with Maranis singing, a previous one with another vocalist and another demo after the 2nd album also with another singer. I haven't heard any of them though.
