കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ വവ്വാൽ ശല്യം കാരണം കുറേ സപ്പോട്ട കിട്ടിയില്ല . അവസാനക്കയ്യായി ഇത്തവണ ഒരു പരീക്ഷണം നടത്തി . പഴയ ഓഡിയോ കാസ്സറ്റിന്റെ ടേപ്പ് എടുത്ത് മരത്തിന്മേൽ (ഉയരം കുറഞ്ഞ മരമാണ് )തലങ്ങും വിലങ്ങും ചുറ്റി . സപ്പോട്ട കായകൾ കഴിയുന്നത്ര ചുറ്റിയ ടേയ്പ്പിനുള്ളിൽ വരുന്ന വിധത്തിലാണ് ചെയ്തത് . കുറച്ചു ലൂസാക്കി ടേപ്പ് കാറ്റിൽ ഇളകാൻ പാകത്തിലാണ് ചുറ്റിയത് . ഇതുകൊണ്ടായിരിയ്ക്കാം ഇത്തവണ ഇതുവരെ കായൊന്നും നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല .

എന്റെ സപ്പേട്ട മരം രണ്ട് വർഷമായി പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ കായ് പിടിക്കുന്നില്ല. പക്ഷെ ഇല കാണുമ്പൊ അത് സപ്പോട്ടയുടെ ഇ പോലെ തോന്നുന്നില്ല. പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ മാതൃ സസ്യത്തിന്റെ ആകുമൊ എന്താ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്. ഇപ്പഴും ഒരു പൂവ് ഉണ്ട്
