It’s nice to hear a FULL ORCHESTRA! I’m so tired of them doing these Sondheim shows with reduced or “reimagined” orchestrations. His scores were meant to be heard with full orchestrations!

Sara will go down in the books as a legend of our time. There is nothing she can’t do. And not only does she do it all, but she does it at a level that is unmatched. I just adore her!

I’d argue the new orchestrations for Assassins were an improvement, but I do appreciate the full orchestra here

yeah I'm not saying that its a bad thing to change a show to fit a modern audience but sometimes it feels like it doesn't hit your expectations like the 2006 revival of company i honestly hate the revival and prefer the original and the 2018 revival. or like pacific overtures that show requires a hug orchestra to be performed

Are we kidding….like she was perfect for this role how did I not know. She brings the energy I can’t describe to this role. HER VOICE is flawless literally no mistakes. And silly she’s silly and cute and she is the baker’a wife. Thank you whatever the higher being is for giving us the thing we never knew we needed

I just saw her in the transferred version and thought the same thing she blew me away not oh she is she a talented singer songwriter but as an actress she's both funny and touching and moving

Wonderful voice but just too clean for my taste, I always preferred the baker’s wife to sound less polished and have more of a comedic and sometimes indignant drawl with this song in particular

I just saw this live yesterday. Her acting and comedic timing were excellent. Seeing her actions while singing really elevated the whole performance! And I think she may have added more depth to this song since this was recorded. All in all, she was wonderful!

I so agree with these, I think she’s probably my favortie baker’s wife because of how her choices vocally and emotionally REALLY shine and fit the character! It definitely hits differently to see her do it rather than just hear her, but she really shines in this show kts unbelievable
