@@brotherofjunk Sarah isn't a bad person. I don't think any of them are from Roseanne. Roseanne during the late '80s and early '90s was a woman with a hit TV show in her name which was unheard of. Tim Allen, Jerry Seinfeld, Cosby, eventually Frasier - all men. Between that stress... and Roseanne being known to have mental health issues yes... we can forgive Roseanne for making a joke as a comedian. If you can't laugh at everything, including yourself, and take life too seriously, I don't know what to tell you. Some people just refuse to follow, "pretend to be nice," in Hollywood to keep their jobs and continue getting work and Roseanne is one of them. Comedian Monique is another one.

I can appreciate what roseanne did in the 80s and 90's and give her credit. And I can also acknowledge that in the 2000's she became an unhinged, foil hat wearing racist. She didn't ask to be forgiven. The Roseanne reboot would have been cancelled because of her racist ranting. The hundreds of employees who worked for the Rosanne reboot would have lost their jobs because Rosanne couldn't keep her racist thoughts to herself. Sarah Gilbert saved all of those jobs. Made sure that those people kept working for all these years.

She didn't do anything to Rosanne but throw her under the bus where she belongs. I actually like Rosanne, but you can't expect your colleagues to follow behind everything you say. These actors, and the entire production crew, needed a job (a paycheque) to live. She cannot spoil it for everyone.

I recommend watching it. The show is great. We watch new episodes with dinner when it's on. Reminds me of when I was a kid watching Roseanne with my grandmother, but now I get to watch it with my kid.

I have watched the original series several times and enjoyed it, but I am really loving The Conners.
