I remember listening to this song not being able to relate to it. One of my favorites but it stings now. Had my first relationship at 20 on Jan 1st of this year. We ended it 4 days ago. The week before was the last time i saw him. We were planning on going to a concert, going to church together. He told me about his bad childhood and i told him my insecurities and he made me feel better. It was the best night ever. We made out and it was so passionate. 3 days later he texts me that he needs space to take care of himself and family because his dad started getting sick again. He told me about his dad before and he didnt know how to feel because they dont have the best relationship. The night before he sent that text i was having heart palpitations because my anxiety and intrusive thoughts were getting so bad. I remember praying to God that night for an answer whether i should continue this relationship or not. We both were struggling with our mental health and i realized we were using each other as our main source of happiness. He told me he was sorry for everything and he thought he couldn’t give me what i deserve and that it was unfair to me. I understood. I responded and told him ill always love him and will always be praying for him and his family. He said he’ll always love me and pray for me too and to take care. He unfollowed me 2 days later. And when i noticed i texted him asking if he needed space or if we were done. He said its best if we go our own separate ways and that he was sorry. I thanked him for loving me and for making me feel good about myself despite my insecurities. I told him i love him because hes a good person and deserves peace. I was left on delivered. Trying to move on. I know i’ll get better but he was like my twin.

Took me 1 and a half year to kinda stop thinking about her, weirdest thing that happend to me was that I dreamed about her exactly one year after the first time we met March 19th. I woke up full of tears just sitting in my bed trying to copperhand what just happend and why I was soo emotional about this. Its insane how your heart and mind can connect soo strongly to a person, perticular time, date and even places. I remember every detail of the first time we met, the first kiss when it was raining, everything was so beautifull and perfect it was like a movie sceen, i guess love really does make everything beautifull. Even now, soon to be 2 years since the last time i saw her i can still remember how her parfuem smelled, that shine in her eyes and the brightest smile youll ever see. Every song reminds me of her still to this day, and dont think im one of those guys that never moved on I tried I dated a lot of girls all of them were amazing and beautifull but she was the only one that that would give me butterflies in my stomach just by thinking about her.
