I started reading Daughter of No Worlds per your recommendation, so thank you lol and I loved it. I understand your struggle with Children of the Fallen Gods, it took me so long to finish but so absolutely worth it because the 3rd book is amazing. I finished Babel and that just kinda burnt me out. I loved it. It was very good but it required a lot of thought so I wanted something light after that. So after that, I read The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh. It was the best thing ever. Its very much inspired by Studio Ghibli which I loved. It was so good and I loved every single second of it. I totally recommend it.
