i just watched it a while ago and i cried. The story was perfectly executed because it is a combination of comedy, drama and a bit of romance. I suggest to bring tissue paper and a dozen of handkerchief before watching this. This could have been shown on mothers day. Story about a mother (granny, sarah) who did what a mother can do for his child. Bring your parents with you :) If you still have mother or your granny! 11/10 for me :) i love you sarahhhh!

This movie is well executed. I’ve watched the Korean version long time ago and I must say with that version I said this movie isn’t my cup of tea. I was honestly hesitant to watch the Filipino version for that reason. But I’ve been supporting Sarah’s film from day one so I said why not with this one. Boy. I sure am glad I watched it coz this would probably be my 2nd all time favorite Filipino movie next to A very special love (Sarah movie also of course). Bias aside this movie was executed very well. I normally don’t like Filipino movies in general bcoz when it comes to story and directing really falls behind eveb from other neighboring SEA countries like Thailand and Malaysia. Anyway with this movie. Every bits of the scene fits perfectly together and the transition of flashbacks while Sarah was singing forbidden love was the highlight of the movie for me. That kind of directing is well thought of. Kudos to everyone with this film. I think miss joyce Bernal is truly an asset in Philippine film industry. As for Sarah. Hands down to u ma’am as always. I could never picture any celeb in our country other than Sarah to would have pulled off this role. Once again superb performance.

The best remake of the miss granny movie.. ive watched all other versions from korean(original), chinese, japanese, thai, vietnamese and indian.. yes ive watched them all kc i want to see the difference sa bawat isa, almost the same naman, ang difference lang is ung kanya kanyang culture na inincorporate based sa country na gumawa like ung food na niluluto sa unang scene nung manugang ni miss granny.. ung indian ver mejo nilagyan ng ibang twist kc may hindu god na involve kung bat sya bumata ulet which is ang ganda din ng pagkakagawa.. lahat ng version amazing pero etong sa atin ang d best, as in.. dto ko tumawa at umiyak ng sangkaterba.. nabigyan ng justice and even nahigitan pa ung original in my opinion.. viva nailed it.. inferness ang husay nila magremake ng korean movies ha, look at miracle in cell no 7 ni aga, as in super nakamamangha lalo na ung nding..

I enjoyed Miss Granny movie immensely. I have paid to watch many movies starring Sarah Geronimo, which I seldom do for other Pinoy flicks. She is a versatile artist and her projects are worth spending money and time. I must say though that Miss Granny is my favorite so far. Sarah Geronimo is very convincing as an elderly woman in a young body. The movie is both a story with many insights and a Sarah concert, for a steal. It is a genuine GP film relying solely on the story and production quality. No exposed breasts and under garments. No profanity. No overacting homosexual-sidekicks. No sexual or silly romantic scenes. Pure joy. The songs as sang in the past sound "baduy" but Sarah's rendition made the songs classy. Oh just one important detail. The clothes nova villa was wearing during the magical transformation was way bigger than the same outfit worn by Sarah. The clothes Sarah had on during the hospital scene was small. Nova villa should be wearing ripped Sarah clothes when granny became old again. I tell myself this is part of the magic spell. But the magic would feel more real if Sarah was wearing a hospital gown during the blood donation. 2-thumbs up for the production people and the talented cast! Congratulations! Please put the movie on dvd, I'd like to buy one.
