I recommend you to listen "Willie McCallum performance"...the first tune he performs is "Sarah's song" with his bagpipes....really haunting!!!

I find the combination of accordion and fiddle (sans flute) in the performance given by Phil and Aly on US TV was the more successful arrangement. It was written by Phil (in some haste) as a raffle prize...
