I'm a grown man that plays COD, Elden Ring, etc. and here I am enjoying and getting hooked on Coral Island. But goddamn does it give me my daily dose on rainbows and sunshine after getting wrecked in some of those 'more hardcore' games. Thanks for the tips though I've been playing for a while and these tips made some annoying parts much easier to handle!

I recently got this, played a total of 24 hours. This is such a fantastic chill game, can't wait to play 1.0. I was able to get about $150k+ playing and selling off then demolishing to start anew tomorrow.

Thank you for taking the time to make this! I just happened to come across this while perusing the PS Store and was like "oh another Stardew Valley type game", which I loved! It's like they took SV as a base, but added a lot of useful features (slowing length of day, customizable buttons, etc.) I only got this yesterday but can't wait to get back to it after work today and using some of your great tips!

Thank you Sarah! I've been looking for 1.0 starter tips for a couple days now, but didn't find anything too useful yet. Until your video here. As stated before, I have just discovered the game recently. Most of the mentioned tips are things that I have found out myself by now, but I still learned something useful from this video for my own start in about 4 hours (e.g. switching combat mode settings to avoid unwanted conflicts with the cave creatures).

I played for 6hours before watching this video and I’m very glad that I did :D It took me 4 hours of gameplay to figure out what to do with all those mysterious clover spots, hahah! Renaming the chests is such a headache saver, I didn’t notice this was an option. Changing the game time speed will be a game changer while doing the cavern and cleaning the sea, thanks for the tip!

It's 5am right feeling very sick with flu and pain and this vid was one of the things that helped take my mind off it. So informative, I didn't play the early access before bc I wanted to wait for release, I can't wait to test out this game and have access to so many features. I'm most excited about it being like stardew but with diving too!❤

A tip I have is just an alternate method of play for more intermediate players who are restarting - when your stamina bar is super low because your skills are at level 1, setting the game time to 100% is really helpful so it doesn't feel like you're constantly running out of energy. I'll use up my stamina bar in 15 mins, spend some time foraging and chatting, then go to bed. It's also convenient to push through the seasons so you can access new foragables and critters!

didn't know anything about this game until the 1.0 update and almost quit immediately because of the size of the map, the 24 hour clock, and the super fast days but one watch of this video helped me with all of those so tysm!!

thank you sarah for so many wonderful tips! and if i may add a tip to this, (i dont think you mentioned it) is the global chest feature and how you can untick it on the chests that you dont want your crafting/cooking to use. Happy playing everyone!

I discovered last night that if you do New Game+, your settings from the original save file carry over. I had set my time to 60% during early access and that carried over, as did my sprint/jog preferences. So that's helpful!

Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I also had played a lot in early access but you helped me find soooo many nice tips I wasnt aware of (the no monster aggro is SUCH a fantastic feature!!). To comment on the scarecrow part of the video, Ben (who lives in the van in the woods) often sells them at his shop. I also want to say that the crows only trigger if your plots exceed a certain threshold, so if you have a small plot of crops, I believe you are safe. But I recommend buying a scarecrow from Ben. It's the same as the one you can craft and is available by day 6 or 7.

Just spent the past hour liquidating my farm so now I'll be starting my new game plus farm with almost a million gold. So excited for the fresh start without having to worry about the limit of money. Though I definitely want to do a fully fresh start as well.

@@diamondly6250 I mean I sold everything on my farm for gold. When the 1.0 update hit if you had a previous save file you could restart the game with the gold you had on that file. Since I'd be losing the file anyway, I sold everything to start over with as much gold as possible. I hope that answers your question!

as soon as I knew the release date for the full release I stopped playing I wasn't even so far in. Now I just have to wait till tomorrow, checking every hour or so if the update dropped as we didn't get a release time xD Also I didn't knew yu could hold right-click to see which seeds I planted so thanks for that little info^^ I hope the entertainment programs on the tv finally continue and I didn't have to watch the same episode over and over again.... my only other problem now is that I still don't which pet to get >.< As I still can't get my little sharky boy to love me for now I think I will try to get to know wakuu better.
