I saw somebody on the CI discord say that since Stephen is a "rescue lobster," maybe Macy stole him from a restaurant or something before his fate could befall him, and now it's my favorite theory about how she got a rare blue lobster haha! I actually learned so much from this video, and some of these clips and artwork were new to me as well! I had no idea there was a possibility to see a baby sea turtle, now I'm almost as excited to encounter them as I am the merfolk, lol! I'm thinking of starting with a dog in the game since I have one in real life (fingers crossed for a black lab as an available pet!) but I'd also love to have a pet fox on one of the playthroughs as well!

I love the designs of the animals. They just all look so cute. I'm really excited for the llamas and the luwaks . Also I'm so happy they added that the heart disappears once you pet the animal. I've missed that in Stardew Valley haha. As a mythical animal I would like to see a griffin. I think that could be interesting and I bet it would look adorable too! Wow you found some animals that I didn’t even knew existed. Great information. Perhaps there will be a sea serpent to go along with the Merfolk. I think I would stick with choosing a dog as my first pet as I know how to care for it. I love how the Giants can help with the animals. I would definitely need this feature. I'm OBSESSED with this video 🥰 I think it would be soooo cool for the devs to add an a "rescue" option for us vegans hehe. Like how cool would it be if you had an opportunity to rescue farm animals instead of buy them? Maybe they produce fewer items but your relationship with them builds faster!

I'm going basic by starting with a cat. I have 3 cats, there's stray cats where I work, it just wouldn't feel right for me to not have a cat. I'll switch it up in later save files, but starting with a kitty. As for mythical pets... I'm thinking that I really want more Eastern influence on this. I'd prefer a creature that is better known in Asia than North America. I can't think of one off the top of my head, so all the more reason for me to wish for that.

I get my own Pigeon? sweet :) I would love a Tsuchinoko for a mythical pet. I'm thinking cat for my first pet but the fox is also very tempting. all the animals are just so adorable :)

Have butter and mayonnaise been confirmed as one of the processed goods? I think those are such staples in farming games, so I expect to see them as well. I also really appreciate how they think of adding different horn shapes for cows for different personalities, I hope they add the possibilities of having different features / characteristics to the other animals as well. Tbh, I also don't expect that they're gonna be adding pregnancy to animals. I really hope we can see those with the other animals as well. Please birds hatching from eggs in incubators maybe? Now that I think about it, I hope that when we first purchase our animals, it will start from the baby lifestage and maybe after our first purchase, the option to buy the adult version will be unlocked. Because personally, for someone like me, I always raise my animals from the baby stage. Even when there's an option to buy the adult version, I always buy the baby version, because I like taking care and raising them from baby ❤ As for the pets, let's be honest, it's gonna the same case as dateables, gonna have em all in those different save files 😏

That fish looks nothing like a trevally, trevally have very flat faces that ones face is too pointed. Also those are manta rays not sting rays you can tell by the mouth piece and size.

Please let there be cats and when you go into the ocean to swim underwater your cat could transform into a cat fish with magic from the mermaids. And peacocks.
