Good morning, Sara and happy Monday! Thanks for sharing the Q&A and the tips that you've given. Have a lovely day and happy writing/editing draft 7 of DE. Happy hiking and be careful if doing so today. ❤

Congratulations for reaching 20,000 subscribers!! I really appreciate your example of just showing up and grinding through something that takes months or years to complete. Looking forward to buying and reading DE!

8:36😅the dramatic effect! Your editing is superb. Congrats, again. You more than deserve it. Here comes 100,000! By the way, love your hiking videos. Although we don't share the same playlist on Tubers, we do share the same running/training interests for the same exact reasons. Btw, have I said you're cool? I also think it's a wise idea to go publishing route at the beginning. Publishers tend to weigh your self-publishing feats harshly and it can work against an author who didn't sell so well self-publishing.

Congrats on getting to 20k and getting this far in your project! You've honestly been a huge help and influence on debut authors like myself. I also really like your point on how making YT videos about the writing process can help you hold yourself accountable. I just started doing the same thing and it has given me this extra push to finish my final edit! Life hack confirmed! 😂

Congratulations, Sara! I hope to see your book in a bookstore one day so I can say to the guy working there, "I knew her before she was famous, you know?" And then the guy would say "Buy something or leave, dude" And I'd say "Do you have a problem, buddy?" Then he'd beat me up and throw me out. cheers

Congrats on 20k subs!! I'm totally the opposite from you. I prefer drafting over editing. Editing is sooo hard. I'll literally take several days to edit just one chapter.

That’s totally fair! I’m wondering if my preferences will vary book to book!

My desert Island book would probably be a book of poetry. Every poem is a different "story" and can be interpreted 1000 different ways. Now, which book of poetry? Not sure.

I'm curious what was your question
@Kat_Author20214 ай бұрын
@@kenanlancaster I asked her “Do you prepare for your write a book in a month, and how?”
@SaraLubratt4 ай бұрын
I tried to get to all of them but couldn't quite! I don't prep for writing a book in a month lol and have struggled because of it. Next time (so this next November??) I think I'm going to try to go in with a little bit of a plan but I'm such a pantser that I just sit down and go (for better or for worse lol)
@Kat_Author20214 ай бұрын
@@SaraLubratt I’m a Plantser. I plan the heck out of the major plot points, but when the story goes off the outline, I pants it until I can get the story back on track. Lol. As of now, I won NaNoWriMo (Nov 2023), wrote 50k in January (multiple projects), 52k in February (multiple projects), 25k in March as a break month, and I am all set to get 50k this month. I’m happy with the progress I have made, and with the new writing habit of not getting down when I skip a day of writing. 🥰
