The wonderful cast members at Saratoga Springs allowed us to do a full room tour of the newly remodeled 2 bedroom villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort to show you all how great these look! These rooms used to sleep 8 people, but the new refurbished rooms now sleep 9 people which is great news for families!
The 2 bedroom villa looks so much better, and the new updates have some fun Disney characters all over the room.
Congress Park is the first section being worked on with Springs scheduled to be the next section to begin their refurbishment. Both of these sections are preferred, so if you're hoping to get a refurbished stay on your next Disney trip, be sure you book a preferred room and request a refurbished room. This is never guaranteed, but Disney does try to accommodate as many guests as possible. Be sure to consider the fact that as they continue these refurbishments over the next couple years, you may have construction going on around you or fire alarm tests if you're in a refurbished room.

Love that they added the extra bathroom to the room, making it fit more in line with the current DVC room layout. Surprised that they didn't put a shower head in the master bath & just give you a soaking tub.

I love the newly refurbished rooms. It will be nice to store extra luggage under the beds. The fact that the two bedroom sleeps nine is a plus and love that the pull down in the living room has a regular mattress.. I will, however, miss the Jacuzzi tub.

The hat's picture is from an old Disney movie called "Make Mine Music." It's an adorable story of these two hats falling in love and were picked to be used for horses. It's similar to fantasia.

Impresions at my favorite dvc resort I LOVE IT!!! Better then the old looks! The floor looks nice and better tben old carpets throughout the rooms. I love how they added an extra twin bed in the living rooms. No more horse pillows on the old couches bit i love the new one and tbe new couch! I lovw how they have murphy beds on the walls in the room. The dining tables are a LOT better and can now seat up to 4! Tne kitchen has brand new counters and brand new stainless steel appliances. The bedrooms look a lot better and now have raised beds, master has brand new carpets, and brand new dresers! And i see there's no more cool pitcure blankets and now they just have regular white blankets, like at the Old Key West Resort. The bathrooms are a lot beter now. Tbe master has new sinks, new toliets, new shower, and new floors! And they have changed tbe bath tubs from a Jacuzzi to just a big soak in tub. No more windows from tbe bath to look at tbe master bedrooms. And yes the showers in the master are stand in ones. And the standerd baths in the 2nd bedrooms(and tbe stuidos) are tbe sane but with the addition of a tub shower combo, that now has sliding glass doors which i like. The showers now have 2 shower heads! The standerd and the wand shower head. Overall, They are now the best dvc rooms in WDW!!!!! Thank you for filming this for me!

Sean, great job outlining the changes. SSR is not my home DVC resort, but I have stayed their more than a dozen times and absolutely love this resort. I like the condominium set up; I feel like I live in a Disney neighborhood, not just visiting a Disney hotel. The grounds are beautiful & I enjoy strolling the winding walkways. I love the proximity to Disney Springs. The Turf Club Grill is a hidden gem. I always start my stay with a day at Senses Spa. Such a wonderful place to stay. Can't wait to get back -- when it is safe -- and experience the new room decor first hand.

It's driving me batty but I swear I know those creepy eye hats from a Disney cartoon or short. I just can't place them and I've looked and I can't find anything about them. The room is lovely and it's awesome that they added the extra bed!

Yes it is. The buses to the parks go to the different stops located all over the resort. And if you don’t want to walk to the front, there’s an internal bus that runs all day around the resort to pick up and drop off guests around the different stops.

They’re working on preferred first, but the entire resort will be done by October, so you should have a great chance of getting a refurbished room by then. Definitely still request one as there may still be some not done yet, but the majority of the resort should be updated by then. 😊

Katie Gonzalez They’re currently working on the second building in Congress Park, but half of it is available while they finish the other half. So as rooms are finished and become available, they’re putting guests in them.

We Just booked for Florida in this hotel for NOV2021 , how did u find the whole stay at the hotel ? Will b 6 of us staying in one villa 4 adults 2 kids 🇬🇧

We hope you have a great trip! This resort has a ton of amenities (spa, 2 pools with slides, recreation room), so there’s a lot to do here for everyone. The only downside is it’s such a large resort, waiting for a bus can take time depending on how busy they are since it goes through the whole resort.

They have completed all the rooms in the Preferred category (The Springs and Congress Park buildings) but they have just started on the Standard buildings in The Paddock, so those won't likely be done until late 2021 or early 2022.

I don’t like the fact that they removed seating options in the living room. I liked having the one chair to the left of the tv opposite the couch, and I also miss the lower countertop on the back side of the sink that used to have two additional chairs. Doesn’t make sense to remove that valuable counter space and extra seating options. Now all of the seating is on the one wall of the living area...

Why do these tours never include a price. I get that prices change seasonally but an average would be nice. it's literally the most important info and is never included in the tours.

It wouldn’t make sense for us to include a price because the price does change by season but also goes up every year. This video is from 2019 and would no longer be relevant price wise today. If you’d like to see updated current pricing for Disney hotels, check out mousesavers.com. They release the pricing each year so it’s updated and accurate.

I respect your feelings but I have stayed at SS twice before the rehab and the rooms were in serious need of repair. The one time our couch was ripped, when I reported it they did replace the cushion and apologized for not noticing it during cleaning but they definitely were not on standard with Disney.

@@jans3133 I didn’t mean to sound bad. I agree that worn and broken stuff needs to be replaced or fixed, but for some reason the rooms we stayed in were fine and absolutely functional. I just like the horse theme, the pattern of curtains, bench, bed spreads, throw pillows ... I like the jacuzzi tub and the ledge between kitchen and living area, where I used to sit and work a lot. Looks like they made that into a Murphy bed. We have 2 in the meantime teenage kids, we usually stay in a 2 bedroom, so we have our bedroom and they have theirs and their own bathroom. No need for a Murphy bed. I am not against renovation, I just loved the original set up. Disney has become way to modern. They can do that with all their new buildings, but I believe the older ones should keep their original old fashioned Charme
