There is an enormous interest and debate on the issue of Right to Privacy worldwide which has received its fair share of talks in India also.
The issue in India has always been in the background with the proliferation of internet applications and Internet of things in the digital age, but the matter took significance after the recent statement of Attorney General of India in the Supreme Court which came in the context of a case concerning the implementation of Aadhaar scheme. In his statement, the Attorney General on behalf of the central government said that the Right to Privacy is not a fundamental right under the constitution.
Civil Rights activists demand that the government should come up front with its ideology regarding Right to Privacy. The case is still pending in the Supreme Court and the decision is yet to come.
In this episode of Sarokaar we try to understand the Government’s view towards Right to Privacy and whether the citizens should get the Right to Privacy.

our constitution does not give ABSOLUTE rights.Every right even fundamental ones are limited when they infringe on others' rights and are detrimental to nation as a whole. Those who ask for absolute rights are selfish people for whom nation and its people mean nothing.
