those movements only apply to certain moves, in person this wall is really steep and the route is really just a bunch of crimpy boulder problems so its not efficient to use the outer edge and drop knee. Flagging is used commonly in the gym because you only have a limited amount of footholds, on real rock there's usually a better option than to flag

Woman don't climb more technical than men. They have slightly less relative strength than men and so female (top) climbers look somewhat more delicate in their execution. But technique is not the limiting factor for either men or women. Otherwise it would mean that with better technique, men could climb harder routes than they currently do. Are you suggesting that?
