Market is down still, I've been looking up strategies and apparently both bull and bear market condition provides equal avenue to accrue massive gains, and a news article particularly mentioned a 54 year old that made $180k in 5weeks, how do I learn these strategies, my portfolio has been stagnant for months.

For the average individual, the tactics are rather demanding. Actually, most of them are effectively completed by professionals who possess the necessary knowledge and skill sets to carry out such trades.
@bernisejedeon588823 күн бұрын
a downtrend offers an equally high-yielding avenue if you have the necessary skills and knowledge. This is why I've been using an investment advisor to scale up during this difficult time, and it's the only way I've been able to raise up to $150K in the last six months. It all comes down to technique. The downtrend gives you room to focus on the market and grow-substantially whether in the long or short run.

Hey Sasha! You've made me an avid follower over the last 3 years...paid off all debts, got my trading account and saved enough for my first mortgage!! Can you do your artistry on your thoughts on British rates over the next few years?! Stuck on the 5 yr or 2yr decision right now! Any other thoughts here are welcome...you're probably all sound thinkers! 😂

What? Something about S&P being overbought and small caps are underbought because they never recovered from 2008. This here flat chart might look 'non-linear' instead. Also It's different this time. That's the thesis in a nutshell.

Inflation is just getting started! You are 100% wrong with all due respect. You can print 1 trillion every 90 days or so in perpetuity and expect inflation to come down. This is why metals are ripping due to the devaluation of our currency. Inflation is not going down period

As a theoretical philosophy student these questions of "what line should the market follow" are interesting and I think you are on point by suggesting something else than the majority. What ever line or curve the market "follows", simply means there has existed constant factors in the actual world that has transferred into constant mathematical patterns. But the actual world does not follow the math, it's the opposite; the math follows the actual world. So we should indeed focus into aspects of the actual world when looking what will happen.. in the actual world. Are we justified to use past mathematical constants to predict the future, meaning; are the actual factors still existing that created the past mathematical patterns?

Fed rate cut may bring down short terms interests but will it bring down long term interests as well given the Govt borrowing that is only likely to increase and buyers of long terms bonds are not increasing but actually reducing.

Guess it depends on how inflation and jobs go. They were increasing in 50 basis point jumps - can be even faster on the way down.

Quite in line with your view Sasha, however the notion of quantity of money over the same period and velocity might bring additional information or I'm mistaken? For me the ETF choise is over, we have to stock pick...

The yield curve between 2yr and 10yr bonds is starting to uninvert. If you look back in history every time this happens a recession has followed and a stock market crash!

So, how do you think this will work for UK house prices? Could they eventually come down to sensible levels, or are we in a "new normal" period for these, as well, with the ridiculously high prices that they are at now?

such a boomer question

@@MeLawenity Such a relevant question. I would have thought the younger people would be more interested in this, as virtually no one can afford to buy a house now.

It goes up and down always has and always will im not clever or dedicated enough to time the market but i can £ cost average and i can usually recognise a slump just not the bottom. I suspect some rate cuts are pending which will boost cheaper stocks that benefit from a lower interest rate so its probably not a bad time to ease into small caos but i wouldnt go all in. Its a punt and worth a satellite position in a balanced portfolio wouldnt bet farm on it though.

I've actually seen a few new businesses open, and not pound shops or mobile phone cover shops, decently branded indie-businesses. That surprised me given the outlook. But they say the strong businesses and smart entrepreneurs that last, tend to start during difficult times and take advantage of all the debt-riding ones failing. Hopefully Papa J-Pow doesn't break anything too badly.

Sasha - please help, I don't know what to do! Trading 212 have decided that you must have 2FA before you can withdraw your funds. But, their website insists that "2FA" has to mean taking a photo of you. My PC does not have a camera, therefore it is impossible for me to set up what they consider 2FA, and I cannot access my money! Talking to them has got me nowhere - idiot customer service people, no better than bots, mindlessly repeating "security" as if stopping me withdrawing my own money is "secure". Any chance you can do a video on this to pressure them into having a sensible policy?

Interesting video. The other reason it might not crash could be because they see stocks as a safe haven outside of banks. On the other hand if there are layoffs in the economy people may be forced to fold on their stock portfolio positions. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
