This is awesome! Finally found your video, I was one the Ontario guys. We were snow goose and duck hunting just around the bend from where the moose was shot. Got to see most of the action. It was our truck you thought was the farmers. It was cool to get our hands on a moose and help you get that bull in your truck. Congrats again!!

Great video and great shot Emma 👍 and for next time try loading your moose backwards put the strap around the waist and try to have it come up from the under side so when you start pulling it will lift it. And it should slide in because the other way you have almost 5 feet of neck and then the front shoulder is hanging up.

I little trick for loading. Get 3/4 inch ply wood cut it so it fits between the wheel wells. Put a 2/4 on end the long way for strength. Pull the moose up to a tree roll moose on to the ply wood strap it to the ply wood. Take tailgate off the truck lift plywood up to the bed of the truck tie the rope to the moose and throw it over the truck tie it high on the tree and then back up. The moose and plywood will slide in the bed. Might have to push it is the rest of the way or back up to the tree and slide it in. Replace tail gate and go. If you have two trucks the other truck can pull it up in to the first truck. Just make sure they stop and don’t fold the side of the bed over. Great job guys.

100 gr bullets? Isn’t that a light weight bullet for a moose? We here in Newfoundland use 180 gr or higher and it’s hard to knock them off their feet with them. Dandy bull, well done.

Heaviest you can use in a 2506 with a hunting projectile is 120 grain. But that won't be a barnes bullet. It would be a cup and core type junk. Thanks for viewing please share.

Moose aren’t like deer where you can set for them. They move around a lot. They can be one place and the next day 15 miles away. You have to stay mobile to find them
