Holy water is a sign of faith in God who makes the water Holy. Our 3-year old grandson believes in Holy water to heal him in times of sickness and it works every time. May God be praised…🙏🏼

This might sound crazy to some but over a four or five year period of time I was getting into a car accident per year (no fault of my own). My mom convinced me to sprinkle my car with holy water while praying a Hail Mary and Our Father. I haven’t had a problem since! 🤞

I blessed my car twice and twice by the Grace of God I was saved from having bad accidents .. Miracles both times as I survived with minimal/no damage and no injury! Edit: I could've easily died or been severely injured but a Heavenly voice of a calm woman told me to "pay attention to the road" and saved me. mother Mary? 🙏🕊️❤️😭

Thanks for sharing! I'll have to do this tomorrow. I've been hit 2 times in my car, luckily it was repairable both times, and I've had a number of other close calls with people nearly wrecking into me. Time to bless my car!

Every time I get a new vehicle, i take it to a priest to have it blessed. I learned of this thru a (believe it or not) Protestant chaplain while I was in the Air Force, who told a story about the airman asking him to bless a vehicle that continually broke down during Desert Storm. He said ok to appease them, went and kicked the tires, etc., And said a prayer, blessing the vehicle. He told us after that, the vehicle had no problem. There are a couple of lessons in this story: 1: Blessings do work, 2: even if the faith of the minister is lacking, God still works thru him, 3: God is still in charge, even over the creations of humans. Imagine that.😂

My sister used to have to drive on dangerous snowy, icy streets to work, so I would sprinkle Holy Water on the car and tires and bless her before she left for work, so she would be safe. I bless our doors to keep us safe from demons crossing the threshold, and from burglary. We use Holy Water in many of the ways you suggested and have been protected. Thank you for this video. That’s a great idea! My sister had a job where she had to be out driving on country roads at night with no lights and often long stretches with no cell phone service even when there was snow or ice. If it was really bad she might be able to miss a night or work less hours but she didn’t get paid for hours she didn’t work. I couldn’t have blessed her car every time but I could’ve given her the holy water so she could do it herself.

During the two months when my sister was dying, I blessed her with holy water every time I saw her. There was nothing I could do to save her body or her life on this earth, but I did everything I could think of to save her soul and get her “pointed in the right direction” when she died. I just hope it worked.

I don't know which mystic but Father Chris Alar of the Divine Mercy says a mystic said with every abortion God is allowing a demon on the earth. No respect for life in the womb equals no respect for any life which is why we have shootings. Even of children.

Every day before I leave my home I dip my finger in the holy water font beside my door and say “ Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner, forgive me my sins and bring me to everlasting life. By this holy water and thy precious blood wash away my sins oh Lord.” Every day. Lord remember me.

When Christ was crucified on the cross and shed his blood for our sins, that was enough. He will forgive us our sins if we repent. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. Nothing we can do will make him love us more. We don’t need holy water.

Charlotte A First of all, holy water has the power to forgive venial sins. When we turn to God and remember our baptism, in which we vowed to reject sin and satan, our sins are forgiven! Second, holy water prepares us to receive the sacraments. With our sins forgiven, our baptism remembered, and with God’s blessing upon us, we are ready to receive the grace of the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. Finally, demons hate holy water. St. Teresa of Avila once said, “I have found by experience that there is nothing from which the devils fly more quickly than from holy water. They also fly from the cross, but they return almost immediately. Certainly, the power of holy water must be great; for my part, my soul feels particular comfort in taking it, and very generally a refreshment and interior delight which I cannot express” (Autobiography). Holy water is an excellent way to protect yourself, your family, or your home from the attacks of the evil one!

Cath4life I’m not going to argue with you but start reading your Bible. The only person who can forgive us our sins is Christ crucified. No holy water no priest can forgive us. Those are lies. Read your Bible. There are no mediators. Why go to a priest or holy water? Go directly to the Master. He’s large and He’s in-charge. Fact. Your holy water is ritualistic behaviour.

Yes suffered terribly from these attacks at night, I was saved by the blood of Christ, the Rosary and Holy Water. St. Michael visited me in a dream right after and assured me I was now fine and safe. I haven’t had those night terrors or dreams again. I was baptized Catholic a few months later. Thanks be to God!

I keep holy water on my desk, in my car, in the tiny dispenser by my front door. I've sent it to loved ones who probably have shelved it though I've told them to benefits of it. Its great, and knowing evil hates it... all the better.

Love Holy Water! I have a very good priest at our parish who came to our house for a house blessing and made me 10 gallons of Holy Water! He used the old Rite which includes exorcisms on the salt and the water as well as the separate blessing for both together! Please I implore everyone to ask your parish priest to make some for you! I like these 5 min. catechesis, thank you very much father Jonathan. I love holy water, too, I love sacramentals. When we got our new car, first thing, I blessed it with Holy water. We do bless our home every year during Christmas season. And my wife and I bless each other and our children with holy water most of the days. The sacramentals are like signposts, pointing us to where we shall point our thoughts, our deeds and our actions to, where our hearts should be. I have read some sad and disappointing comments about holy water from our local priests, nullifying holy water. Holy water may well be no "magic potion" to heal from the virus, but this is all temporal thinking. Holy water helps, protects and advances the health of our souls.

You can’t make it. Its normal water, blessed by a Catholic priest reciting special prayers. I get mine from the church. I bless my self everyday with it, with the sign of the Cross. So far, not gotten Covid, hardly ever fallen ill, and not afraid of anything in this world. Its a good, real presence of God’s protection.

Bakom Flötet - Blessed salt is a sacramental much like holy water. When holy water is being blessed according to the Rituale Romano (1962 version), the priest exorcises and blessed the salt to be mixed with the holy water. It has fallen out of use because of the revolt of the Second Vatican Council. However , you can request a priest to bless your salt and holy water according to the Old Rite of Blessing. More info on the prayers can be found here: www.sanctamissa.org/en/resources/books-1962/rituale-romanum/48-blessings-for-special-days-and-feasts.html PS: It is biblical as the prophet Elisa used salt to purify the water around Jericho. (see 2 Kings 2.19-21), where the prophet Eliseus Blessed salt to purify the waters.

Thank you, Father! I keep a font of holy water by my front door, so I remember to bless myself in coming and going. I have also used it to bless the graves of loved ones. My church keeps a large vessel available for parishioners, which is wonderful! You can take as much as you need. I appreciate your leadership in this time of trouble.

The sign of the cross saved my life. I used this many times when I was in the bathroom taking showers, it just happen that like the devil in my head was telling me to end up my life. Of course I don’t! I have a family. My husband works in the medical field, so I’m fine. I prayed our father loud and made sign of the cross many times and said get away satan many times, the devil was gone. I used to have anxiety sometimes. Now, I’ve never have the anxiety anymore. I am happy after that. I told my friends about this. The same with my friend in Indianapolis, IN she did this. Something in her head like the devil telling her to jump from her second floor. She had to say the Out Father, and made signs of the cross. She is fine now after that. The test of the devil is real. Both of us are accountant in professions.

I got those thoughts too in the past. I find saying or singing the Gloria out loud ward off the evil spirits too. I also say deliverance prayers for myself. Definitely works.

In Chicago the first thing the archdiocese asked was to empty all the holy water fonts because they discovered that we will all catch the virus if we touched the holy water. What faith on sacramentals!!! I wish bishops spoke out with such faith.

M A you can call your local priest or another church to see if the Fr. can bless water for you and by the power of God consecrate it into Holy Water so you can take it home

Yes I can do that and I'm sure there are priests who will be ready to bless but it will be nice to see if such directives come from the bishops especially during these times of fear and times when RCIA candidates are coming into the church.

Can confirm, under the Diocese of Peoria they did they same thing. They left the big fonts with water, but since the churches are closed, can't get access anymore. Having to be conservative on how much I use.

Bishops who remove the holy water are NOT true shepherds but hired hands. They don’t have supernatural faith in the power of sacramentals such as holy water. When you make The Sign of The Cross with Holy Water, you acknowledge and seal that you belong to God. Holy Water is a powerful Sacramental used in exorcisms, to Baptize, bless, cleanse, heal, remit venial sin, grant graces, indulgences & drives demons away. Everyone should keep a bottle & use it daily. Bless yourself, loved ones, home, work space, etc. Bless the souls in Purgatory as it gives them some relief.

One night out with my friends, I tried to escape witout my mother knowing! Jumping in the back seat. I heard my friend who was driving say "whats she doing"??? There she was blessing the car by sprinkling Holy Water all over it! 😆 . embarrassed, I cried "back up" ..... My mother always prayed for my covertion and for my protection! She had a special connection! A power of example of Irish Catholic Holiness!!! To this day all my brother's and sister's have holy water and in this Vail of Tears, we offer up to God all our suffering in union with Christ's Passion!

Thank you Father Meyer for reminding your viewers of three crucial truths of the faith: 1): Evil incarnate exists. 2): There is freedom from this evil. 3): There is protection when we are free.

When we bless ourselves sprinkle what is left on our fingers for the Holy Souls. Have the intention that that drop would release the soul nearest Heaven or lessen the flames tormenting a soul.

I use it too 🙏❤️ ✝️ on myself, my family, my car, even my dogs :) I sprinkle my house and even work inconspicuous ly. While praying the Divine Mercy chaplet and or Rosary I make the sign of the Cross on every door of the house with Holy Water 💧 especially when I'm scared or worried.

Amen! Thank yoi Father. I always filled my bottle with holy after mass. I use it before my morning prayers, before my rosary, when I leave my home and my bedtime. 💗

I had a rosary and a bottle of Holy water in my pocket when I went to rite aid and some guy mentioned a coworker has the virus. You should have seen people back away. I pulled out my rosary and said "be gone Satan.and I have holy water, too!"

I believe, I believe. I was dropping my daughter off to visit friends on a rainy day. Before we left I prayed in the car , sprayed Holy water on me ,on her clothes, and in the car. 20 mins later, some guy hit us , which could have been fatal, ALL the air bags opened and saved us. We walked away with few scratches. The was totally wrecked Thank you, God. I will continue to use holy water every day of my life. I bought small bottles and gave to each of my children to use. God almighty save us last month 🙏 Thank you, God 😊

It was the first video of yours I watched and one of the first Catholic priests I learned from during the plandemic. I learned about you and Father Goring, and Father Chris Alar. Later also Father Altman, Father Blount, Father Ripperger and Father Schmitz. I also listen to Father Pavone and EWTN priests. May God bless us with more holy priests. Thanks father. Especially at this time when our churches are closed and the holy water not present. I am surprised I have water from Lourdes and it never seems to go bad it must be pretty old it was donated by a member of my Church along with personal religious items Rosarys, books etc. God bless
