Loving this series! So many LPs on satisfactory get bogged down early with giant builds with tons of design or alternatively are super slapdash and "temporary" and get rebuilt a dozen times. You seem to be doing a great job at threading that needle. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I do use temporary factories at times but I think there's enough resources in the game that for the most part, I can make a build early on and just move elsewhere when I want to 'redo' the factory. The exceptions are for the rarest resources like quartz and caterium, or places where the landscape presents an opportunity to take advantage of rebuilding a factory to make something special. Otherwise, I want the world to include all my early game builds as a sort of journal of how we get to where we are going.

Yay another post! On a separate note , I was kind of getting the feeling your voice volume was a bit too low compared to the background music, particularly in the "finishing tier 2 milestones" section. Please keep posting, waiting to see you reach the later tiers, cheers

Thanks! Audio levels are always tricky, Ill work hard to make sure they are better from here forward. Genuinely appreciate the feedback. Im also going to try accelerating how much I put in each episode, so we can get into the more fun parts of the later game, although I am also going to start mixing in some alternate content types. Hopefully you'll like what is coming down the pipe and I'd love to keep hearing what you think. Working on getting stuff in 4k too.

loving ur videos so far! only improvement i can suggest is to reduce a bit the volume of the music and increase the one for ur voice, its really low, sometime its difficult to hear u and bc of that the music becomes annoying instead of giving a nice background ambience!!

The other nice thing about this location is there's a sulfur node just up the hill if you decide to purify the coal

You can snap mergers/splitters directly to conveyor lifts. This would make the logistics a bit more compact.

Starting àt that lake is the best. There's copper, limestone, iron, coal and wàter ñearby and it's a hop and skip to oil

I'd never thought of staying there but it makes a lot of sense. I'll have to try it for my next playthrough. My favorite non standard start is at the bay between the rocky desert and the northern forest. All you said and quartz and caterium too

Great Video as usual. You mentioned the "2 coal plant for 1 extractor" thing but wouldnt having all of them in one pipe, like in the video, not work because of the flow rate on the MK1 pipe?

It wouldn't work if there was a single bottleneck - for example if all of the extractors sat at one end of the pipe and all the fluid had to pass through a segment to reach the generators. As it is designed, the water flows into and out of the pipe across it's breadth, so the near extractors provide for the near generators, and the water doesn't bottle neck in any one place.
