That crimp! That crimp, that crimp, that crimp!! Oh, this one should be on one of those loops that looks like it never ends. I'd be transfixed. This is the most beautiful fleece I've ever seen come off an animal yet, I think. So beautiful. Amd such a steady hand you make this very hard work look very easy. Love you girls. 💕💞💕

@@luzacevedo6684guatafac, cálmate. La alpaca está más viva que tú, pero obviamente tiene que estar quieta, pues, sino cómo la van a trasquilar, por favor. Segundo, no tiene heridas, ponte lentes. Y tercero, ella es una profesional en trasquilar lana, no es lo mismo que ser peletero.

I believe sometimes they sedate the animal if they are known go get stressed... all of them are bred to have coats that never stop growing so if you don't trim them they will get matted and over heat so even the most stressed one still needs to be trimmed.

I will never max out of my desire to watch this performance! The soft sounds of the shear. The beautiful thick, luxurious rolls of mocha colored wool. There's a syncopation to the entire experience & no, I'm not high at least not before the performance. It's as if you choreographed the whole thing, from model of cutter(hum is out of this world). The breed of sheep, color, texture, couldn't be better & finally, the rhythm of your arm moving across the side of that lucky sheepster. I'm certain that I need a hobby to redirect some of my attention away from this......expression of calm & peaceful mental therapy. Thankfully, Subscriber Ron

Yes, it's quite wonderful! 😊 And their wool makes wonderful, soft and warm clothes. A neighbor has them and gets the wool made into clothing, which they sell.

Last night I watching your long video of a 13 hour day shearing sheep and alpacas all over Texas…WOW. I was in heaven…I’m a former yarn store owner and so appreciate what you do and how you lovingly speak of the fleece. Crimp is a word all of us yarn addicts know well. And virgin wool…first shear ever for the animal. And your wittiness when you narrate is a total delight. I hope all your clients pay you well. It’s hard skilled work and long days. Including your wife’s particularly hard work with the work she does on their feet! Holy mackerel!! Keep up the great work!! And keep the videos coming…long, short, and in between too.

How the heck does it roll off in sheets like that?! 😲 I know the sheerer must be trained in using a special technique, but it's still crazy how they can make a huge sheet of wool stay together that way!
